I’ve no idea who Tina Brown is, but shall we just wait and see what Meghan does, rather than all this daft speculation. Honestly, some people have far too much time on their hands!

Autumnleaveandthegrass · 22/08/2026 19:08

I thought series 3 hadn’t even been commissioned yet.

SummerNocturnal · 22/08/2026 19:12

I didn't think it had been recommissioned either yet. Are we sure this isn't just rumour to hype up the second series of it that comes out next month?! 🧐

FrippEnos · 22/08/2026 19:13

Or its just click bait and kick up some anti feelings.

bestbefore · 22/08/2026 19:25

I suspect it was never on the cards, wouldn’t surprise me if it all wasn’t a publicity stunt!
Also does she even have a work visa? How does that work?

Tina Brown is someone who knows her celebrities.

shellyleppard · 22/08/2026 19:28

Never heard of her..... wouldn't call megan markle a celebrity either tbh

What would you call her?

BruFord · 22/08/2026 19:32

Former editor of Tatler, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, co-founder of The Daily Beast. She's probably in the know, but anyway, it's not particularly exciting news (if it's true)!

shellyleppard · 22/08/2026 19:32

Honestly??? A chancer?? She married Harry but and caused a lot of upset within the royal family and her own family. Not a fan

you don’t know who Tina Brown is? but you do sound bossy

First Brontë Coy reported that Meghan had been offered a major UK acting role. Coy has admitted getting exclusives from the Sussex camp, and journalists such as Victoria Ward have close access to Sussex sources. Then trade publications like Deadline reported she was in talks for The Gentlemen. Now Tina Brown is reporting the offer has been withdrawn. Quite a turn of events.

I’m not a fan either, but she did manage to get very well known.

You do realise this is the royal section, right? 😂 If royal stories don’t interest you, why are you here commenting on them? None of us are losing sleep over it, but that doesn't mean we can't discuss it.

Tina Brown is one of the main twits who rushed to report that she could "confirm" that "Meghan has a job" in a show and this was how Harry was able to convince her to return to the UK.

"So here’s the scoop about the Sussex thunderbolt: I can confirm Meghan has a job. The identity of the show is not yet clear, but it allows Harry, at last, to get her buy-in for his growing desire to get the hell out of paradise and go home to the world he understands."

tinabrown.substack.com/p/meghan-has-a-job

Because she's British and used to be the editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair and the New Yorker, lots of Americans (and some Brits) think she has "real insight" into Harry and the royals and is a bonafide journalist with credible sources. She knows sod all and, just like the rest of the "royal" bloggers" and YouTubers and "authors", she's simply exploiting them with yellow journalism to keep herself relevant.

None of the "royal bloggers" and even the "royal journalists" for the press, who all constantly go on about their "sources" and their "information" knew a thing about Harry and Meghan's return. They know nothing and their "sources" are fantasies yet they endlessly spew their nonsense, keeping the soap opera going, digging the needles in to get a reaction. They are the 21st-century equivalent of the tabloid paparazzi of the 1980s-early 2000s that so hounded various members of the royal family.

Tina Brown was just half a day ago "reporting" that she could "confirm" that "Meghan has a job!" in a TV show in the UK.

Why? I’m just discussing what’s in the news. 😂 Just because you don’t like what it says doesn’t mean people can’t comment on it.

Tina Brown was on Call my bluff from 70s the other night. She's a fascinating person.

I didn't really know her until I googled her and I have ordered her Diana chronicles book.

As for Megan I just wish them.both well really whatever they do.

Who on earth is he?! This is like some sort of parallel world! Seems to be people who no one has heard of, speculating about people that no one cares about.
