Have Harry and Meghan announced their children’s school choice yet?

Has HAMs school choice been announced yet? Moneys not on Lambrook!
Would parents of said school need to be informed? Or because they are no longer working royals would they not need to announce?
Will they go state or private? Can they afford the top private schools now? I gather the state won't pay for their kids education?

I thought they were renting in California? They didn't own it, it was leased?

Can I ask why you keep track of info like whether they’re renting when you clearly dislike them? It’s so very very easy to avoid most articles about this couple because if you choose to.

It’s really quite unhinged behaviour to be seeking so much random information about people you loathe.

weegielass01 · 23/08/2026 09:28

I reckon kitebrook or whatever its spelt. Its closest to soho house.
If they were going to Zara's kids school then the royals would have known sooner than last Sunday they were returning so I doubt it.

Can anyone who’s got info on Westonbirt or Beaudesert Park let us know on Monday 7th what the upshot is please 🙏

They won’t do the first day photo shoot that W&C do because they aren’t working royals

Edited

Every parent in those schools after pick up... "Were there any new American kids there today?"!

I think it's very much in my interest as these people expected my taxpayers money to pay for their security!

It has prep too.

It’s full boarding tho. They aren’t going to move countries and pack them off to BS.

Whatever about boarding at 13, Meghan has always been clear she views boarding as barbaric. Though they are both adept at rowing back on stated positions eh …

George has only just started boarding has he not.
The Wales make a big thing about doing the school run themselves as much as they can.

I don't think any would want children boarding much below secondary age.

Harry definitely is old money & I'd say he misses his old lifestyle very ,very much. However the aristos & other very wealthy families won't trust them due to them airing their dirty laundry in public. Meghan will absolutely not fit in, she's thd complete opposite to sloaney old money.

Where on earth are you getting these mad stereotypes from? The rich Russians Arabs and Chinese chose the school in the hope of rubbing shoulders with someone like Harry. They won’t believe their luck. The count of Britain aristo families at these schools can be done on one hand. And even they want to suck up to a royal.

Backedoffhackedoff · 23/08/2026 10:10

Also Harry hated eton so I’d be amazed if their kids went there. He spent next to no time with his parents or brother as a child and seems very clearly a different type of father. Boarding seems very unlikely

The Russian ogliarh families are extremely private & discreet, very wary of who to trust. Ham aired dirty laundry on Oprah, whats not to say they wouldnt do it again?
Ham are no longer working royals ,W&K would be much more attractive to any social climbers!

@Madamefroufrou- that house is currently being refurbished and will then be up for rent. Coincidence?

I think not !

Well yes but they can’t all manage school with w&Ks children, whilst I’m sure they’d love too.

Russian oligarchs have nothing that Ham could “expose” them for- no one gives a shit what they’re up to, there is no audience to listen.

Backedoffhackedoff · 23/08/2026 11:10

Also Russian oligarchs are not in the slightest bit discreet btw

JSMill · 23/08/2026 11:11

I can’t speak for Russians but Arabs are very family minded and cannot comprehend the behaviour of people like H and M.

How does that impact their children being at the same school as them?

they’re at school with Russians oligarchs who are arguably just criminal gangsters- and they’re going to care about a family dispute?

I think they would look down on them to be honest after their behaviour. They are not a big deal at all , look at the way the A list gave them the bums rush in Hollywood wanted nothing to do with them, will be the exact same in the Codswolds.

Not discreet about flashing the cash but very discreet & cutthroat about who gets into their any circle. Also they won't want to be bankrolling anyone either!

To be fair, none of this is the fault of the children is it?

Innocent parties of the whole furore.

I do hope they aren't intending to use the children as a revenue stream though....

I don't know if Harry hated Eton, but it was apparently a bit tough for him, but that's probably because it was too academic for him.

Only one of their kids is potentially eligible for Eton. Lily could never go because she's a girl.

If you care about your taxpayer's money being spent on security for Harry's kids, then surely you would want as few details as possible known about which school they are going to. Keeping things private poses less of a risk and thus reduces any potential future state spending on their security.

At present, no taxes are being spent on their security, but that could change if too many details and their private life, their address, the kids' schools, etc. become known.

They're worth £60m and their father is the king. Of course they can afford it.

How do you know that ? Are you their accountant or bank manager? What a bizarre statement.
His father is the King , not ‘their’ father.

Absolutely. People are obsessed. I think this proves no one actually knows how much money they have or whether they own their home or not. It makes me laugh when posters state as a FACT something they can’t possibly know.

This can't change as they are non working royals so they are not entitled to state security. They will need to pay for their kids security if they wanted them educated in England, they are paying for their own security already in the US it will be the same here as they don't work for the royal family any longer.

He’s been open that he shouldn’t have been sent there as he wasn’t nearly academic or hardworking enough plus he was still deep in grieving his mother and they weren’t good at supporting him through that. He made it clear in spare he hated it

You think someone who can afford $3m a year mortgage interest can’t afford £100k a year to send their children to school?
