The royal family

Have Harry and Meghan announced their children’s school choice yet?

Has HAMs school choice been announced yet? Moneys not on Lambrook!
Would parents of said school need to be informed? Or because they are no longer working royals would they not need to announce?
Will they go state or private? Can they afford the top private schools now? I gather the state won't pay for their kids education?

I wonder if they will do a start of school photo shoot, just like the Wales did when the dcs started at Lambrook?

Look it up for fuck sake.

Hell I'll do it for you seeing as most of you are so stupid.

There you go, both she and her brother at the local primary school.

Where does that say state school? The school is Beaudesert.

Royals on their first day of school

As Princess Charlotte's first day at Thomas's Battersea approaches, we look back at the rest of the Royal Family on their school debut

@WeddingDressguest

The “local primary” is Beaudesert. She went there till she was 8 before moving to Port Regis. The press phrasing is misleading so it’s an easy assumption to make. Beaudesert is right next to Gatcombe - princess Anne’s house.

JustAnotherWhinger · 20/08/2026 11:20

Zara went to the “local primary school” in the same way George is going to the “local high school”.

The royals, even minor ones, wouldn’t put the security issues and hassle with the press onto a state school.

I've looked it up.
Can't see anything about a state primary.

Mike won't be happy. Seems.to absolutely barely tolerate Harry now and his kids are there. Youngest in Lili's year I think (depending on birthdays). But if they are moving to that neck of the woods. Its the most obvious school.

I don’t pretend to know either of them but given the general consensus I can’t believe the Beaudesert would fit the bill. Despite it recently link up with Rugby School, it really isn’t a ‘top tier’ indie school. Apart from the Tindel/Phillips connection which is due to proximity, it doesn’t attract the kind of A list celebs that H&M seem to like / want nor the upper echelons. It very much a middle range - middle class professionals type school.

Cleo65 · 20/08/2026 11:25

I couldn't care less, after everything they've said I think they should be grovelling on their knees to the Royal Family & the British people. They've run out of money, the Americans couldn't care less about them & so now we're expected to have them back. Disgusting pair of useless, delusional grifters...

Edited

I would be surprised MM has a clue about how to choose a school in a new country with an unfamiliar education system, it would be daunting to anyone. H will be no help. They’ll go where others have trod. Beaudesert.

Yes, but the ‘local primary school’ was Beaudesert Park School, which, whilst perhaps local to them, is very much not state. It may be that it is you who is stupid?

Also love Hello magazine being used as a primary research source!

This is going to be so entertaining. Will they be across the rugby pitch at fixtures come next term from Kate and William - this makes my £1 a year to the royal family so worth it.

I reckon they will move to the Cotswolds so Beau Desert or if Oxford way - Dragons??

Tom Sykes (The Royalist) is tipping Beaudesert Park in Minchinhampton.

Interesting, not far from Highgrove.

Keith Allen lives in Minchinhampton (the parish thereof). Harry could join his poker evening.

KittyTinker · 20/08/2026 12:09

Why would they nobody needs to know where their children go to school. I’m really hoping we aren’t paying for their security so it’s for the best if they start as they mean to go on and keep their business to themselves and not drop instagram hints like they did with the matching bracelets and spooning bananas.

Entertainment for the masses its like a real life soap opera. EastEnders hasn't a look in when it comes to the RF.

Well no because their dcs aren’t in the same year groups. I wonder how long they have been planning this. Ever since a photo of Archie wearing an England t shirt- which is not the kind of shirt a proper fan would buy for their child - I have been wondering if they were thinking about moving their DCs to the UK.

QueenOfTheWasps · 20/08/2026 12:27

I think they might hedge their bets on going back to the US and send their kids somewhere like ACS or TASIS. ACS Cobham is very used to dealing with B list slebs.

croisette · 20/08/2026 12:31

I suspect while their net worth looks healthy on paper, it is less clear where the huge amounts needed to sustain an A list lifestyle are coming in. The big sums (Netflix etc) have dried up.
They had to come back to be in with a chance of creating more sellable content. And Charles will not let them go hungry of course.
William will be fuming but he also has to plot a very careful course for the good of the family.

I can’t see MM there. It’s got a grounded, down-to-earth, non showy vibe. I think she might want a more traditional, higher status place.

Yes, agree, exactly re: ££. M won’t want to be shopping in Zara.

I can’t see M settling & thriving permanently here. However, there are ‘opportunities’. A life with a foot in Portugal & LA could be fun, positive & rewarding.

I think Charles adores H & grandkids & will do what he can to help & facilitate the good life. William, not so much.

I was reading there that their mansion in California has a 10 million dollar mortgage....
I absolutely don't believe they are loaded for one second... they gravy train went dry a long time ago...

There is a massive difference between the king’s son being short of cash and the rest of us. Of course they’ll be able to afford private school. It’s like Andrew and Fergie being broke in the 80s/ 90s. They still were able to live a very nice life- with both girls at public school.

I’m not C ‘adores’ H. We all love our dcs no matter what but H has done an awful lot to cause KC stress from acting his dw to his tirades about court decisions which haven’t gone his way. KC knows W and C are the future, not just constitutionally, but because they have being doing a great job. He needs to put their feelings first and also consider public opinion in the UK.

A report linked in previous thread from a US publication quote a Cali estate agent calculating that their mortgage and local taxes alone came in at $600k/year and that’s before $3m security, then staff, maintenance, utilities…

Plus no significant revenue stream since Spare, Spotify, NF days - but huge additional outgoings on legal fees.

What a pair of plums. It’s quite amusing witnessing the downfall of a couple of bullying, grandiose, grifting, grasping, delusional fools - by their own words and actions. Ridiculed across the world.
