George is pure Spencer. He looks so much like John Spencer and has Diana’s mannerisms.

George is all Spencer.
Louis is all Middleton.

I used to think Charlotte was all Windsor but she’s really starting to resemble William, and William looks like Diana. She’s also starting to develop the Spencer mannerisms.

I’ve actually googled it and there’s something called the ‘Spencer stare’ which Diana, William, George and Charlotte all have. Once you see it, it’s hard to unsee.

Sorry forgot add the image of Johnny Spencer

George looks so much like William in that pic, I think. It’s the first time I’ve seen that resemblance so strongly. They’re a lovely looking family.

Gosh that photo of George with his head down bring back memories. So like Diana.

Poor George so often looks absolutely mortified. Louis looks bored .

According to who exactly? , obviously your opinion is yours, let’s not pretend it’s universal!

I do often wonder whether he’ll be the one to end the monarchy.

Shouldn’t worry! , remember your thoughts are not in fact the truth or any indication of the future 😁

I do believe that his dad is working towards that end.

I believe that W has accepted his lot - he's the next King, too late to do anything about that.

But I also believe W would be happy if the UK would re-structure its constitution so that his grandchildren could just be normal comfortably rich aristocrats like their social peer group.

@Rhaidimiddim

And if George deciding he doesn’t want to do it coincides with popular and governmental appetite for change, it could all be done quite smoothly and without conflict as other modernisations have in the past.

I know this isn’t about H&M PR, but I do think it’s interesting.

Is it him, or is it her, or is it an agreed strategy with both of them, this inability to keep private things private? Releasing information about this island means that now everyone knows about it, potentially making it more difficult for those who wish to go there to retain their anonymity. You'll have folk loitering around hoping to spot famous types going for their holidays, which given that the island is supposed to be a sort of rest cure for when it all gets too much ('I'm just so terribly rich and famous - I need a lie down' etc) doesn't seem quite right.

It's all they have got isn't it? Their life only seems to mean anything if it's on social media. I can imagine Charles shuddering when he considers that if they were to ever go back to Balmoral, there would be photos of stags and barbecues plastered all over instagram. I can't for one minute imagine Harry would ever have wanted this if he'd been married to someone else. I am sure it's all her idea. She's trying to keep their end up in the face of the other photos released by W and K.

As my Granny would say, she is as common as muck.

As my Granny would say, she is as common as muck and grubby, grabby and greedy.
She’s out for what she can get and no one can stop her trading on her royal connection.

AMW was useful. What can H offer these billionaires?

But H doesn't realise what he can and can't do (clear example is saying A&L could choose to be working royals)

But to say H has no power is disingenuous, he still dominates headlines, and with his Prince title it does still open doors. Plus what is a few 100k to a billionaire.

Whilst publicising what they did seems counter productive in terms of being able to return, I believe that if Harry could do more trips here it might help him realise that it is possible and safe and that in general the public don't care what he does and aren't out to get him. That can only be good for his mental health.

I wonder if Kim Carnes is up for a comeback...?

CariadDarling · 02/08/2026 09:19

After reading more about the so-called top-secret trip this morning, I’m more convinced than ever that the gruesome twosome will have succeeded only in dismaying the island’s owner by drawing so much attention to it. So many other people have been able to visit the island (quite possibly on numerous occasions) in complete anonymity, without feeling the need to publicise their trips or publish photographs of it as part of what seems to be a rather sick game.

George is a boy of 13. That's some projection! Or is it just wishful thinking?

Mylovelygreendress · 02/08/2026 09:59

Not sure that Ian Wace will be thrilled about all this publicity for the previously little known island .

This is all wild speculation and projection. You have literally no idea.
You may as well claim that George wants to be physiotherapist and live in Acapulco.

I doubt any of them want to end the monarchy. Who would want to be the monarch who ended over 1,000 years of tradition. More likely we’ll see modernisation and change.

I don’t believe it’s ever been about his mental health, if it was his so called fears wouldn’t just be confined to the UK, it’s about his huge ego and jealousy of William, no amount of trips will ever cure that I’m afraid.

I'm not sure.

I think for Harry, it's still 2017 and he is still the 'party prince' and everyone was wishing him well with his hot new actress girlfriend and looking forward to him starting a family. SO much has happened since then. But Harry still seems to think the British public has great affection for him. Hence all the 'leaks' about how 'he would love to bring his family over', as if anyone gives a toss about whether or not he or his family visit the country.

Knowing that most people are indifferent to him and that he's not significant enough to require high level security would not do his 'mental health' much good. Especially as most of his friends have moved on and his family are suspicious of him. What he needs to do is build a life in California, because like it or not, that's his home now.

Absolutely, the projection on here is mad!
