Why is Dan Wootton so obsessed and full of hatred for Harry & Meghan?

i recently listened to Spare on audible - purely because it was free and I was interested to see what he had to say. ( most of it was boring self indulgent crap imo)
predictably the algorithms have filled my YouTube with H &M stuff!

it seems there is a daily barrage of videos from DW about them, such vitriol from this man. It’s unhinged!
I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m no fan of theirs at all but Jesus he acts like they murdered his granny.
He’ll post a picture of one of them literally smiling and turn it into a massive conspiracy theory about smirking at the Queen on her deathbed or some utter nonsense

It was unequivocally a horrible thing to say. But he no more meant it than someone saying “I could kill him for that!”

Its dehumanising to call other posters pigeons. It's actually really nasty and degrading and well people who do that says alot about them and their attitude really. I would never go that low not even if I hated someone even let alone strangers I don't even know.

Wasn’t there a poster very recently, on a now deleted thread, that felt the negative opinions on HAM on the RF board weren’t reflective of the general publics opinion (that opinion being their own more favourable one) and so their answer to that was to shut down the entire RF board? Or was that all a bad dream?

Back to OPs question, well the constant vitriol from commentators like Dan Wootton isn't journalism it’s a commercial enterprise built on triggering outrage loops for views and ad revenue.

What’s wilder than him, though, is the obsessive crowd he feeds on platforms like X and YouTube etc.

@LipglossAndLies - it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that people who put themselves out there for publicity will be noticed and examined and possibly criticised.
Not everyone who criticises people they do not know but has seen what they have done and said via tv appearances , interviews , books , instagram etc is "obsessive".

I'm not disagreeing with you in that there is a sort of little "industry" for want of a better word around H&M and commenting on what they do, But Occam's razor, if the criticism outweighs the plaudits , could it just very possibly be because people don't agree with them and don't warm to them.
