Why is Dan Wootton so obsessed and full of hatred for Harry & Meghan?

i recently listened to Spare on audible - purely because it was free and I was interested to see what he had to say. ( most of it was boring self indulgent crap imo)
predictably the algorithms have filled my YouTube with H &M stuff!

it seems there is a daily barrage of videos from DW about them, such vitriol from this man. It’s unhinged!
I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m no fan of theirs at all but Jesus he acts like they murdered his granny.
He’ll post a picture of one of them literally smiling and turn it into a massive conspiracy theory about smirking at the Queen on her deathbed or some utter nonsense

I’d like to get back on topic discuss and Dan Wooten and why he dislikes them. Do you have anything to say about that?

How in god's name was the First Amendment comment/Harry relevant to this thread??? How is it 'on topic'? It literally came out the blue when posts before had nothing to do with that and it was all about Wotton's channel/videos

I'm bemused.

I would like to know why H can speak about his hates for financial gain without criticism and DW cannot.

What did posters think to DW jacket? I thought the cut was rather nice.

Thank you and I agree. They were feeding CG info then Harry turned on her during the ANL trial. That was a mistake because now she’s spilled all the beans. I must say, I previously had a bad opinion of DM but her article about how she knew Harry and the impact ANL trials had on all of them but her article showed a different side. She’s very impassioned about her work.

Before anyone describes this as derailing the topic is a particular journalist and the Sussexes and I’m curious about how their relationship with him soured. CG is in a similar position.

Really? You don’t think @BemusedAmericancan mention something Harry has said on a thread that is about Dan Wooten and Harry and Meghan but you do think it’s entirely fine to bring up Jeremy Clarkson and piers Morgan, when they literally have nothing to do with this thread!!

This thread is about Dan Wooton and his comments and videos about H&M and also his alleged ‘hate, vitriol etc.

DW did make a comment and perhaps also spoke about H and his comment about the First Amendment.

Whether that is hate or vitriol? Someone else can judge. But DW did post this. And as such, it is relevant to this thread as it wasn’t entirely complimentary.

A tenuous link some might argue but a link to DW and his comments nonetheless.

I can’t of course speak for the reason @BemusedAmerican posted their comment but I would say that they are entitled to do so.

Who knows? They may have been made aware of H’s comment due to Dan Wooton’s post popping up on their feed.

I despise the Meghan haters on TV and social media. I think the relentless hate must be horrifically stressful. I hate how the haters manipulate us to hate Meghan. She’s tried her best to turn it around and failed by trying too hard but unfortunately she’ll never get away from that dreadful Oprah Winfrey interview. Harry should have had the sense to prevent that from ever taking place.

You don't think... The conversation prior to that and I have looked, for about 40 posts or more it was absolutely nothing to do with that. Talking of Morgan and Clarkson, they are british 'journalists' (if you can call them that) of exactly the same ilk as Wootton. All the previous posts were about Wootton's channel.

Then out the blue came that comment.
You may think it relevant, it really wasn't in the context of the thread, it was nothing to do with Wotton nor previous posts.

Report her post then if you feel so strongly that @BemusedAmerican has broken talk guidelines rather than you and Lipgloss rounding up on her on the thread for an innocuous comment about Prince Harry.

I think Dan Wooten is really awful. But I don’t feel compelled to watch or read any of the things these people post. I don’t come across them other than mentions here, either.

I have added a lot on topic particularly yesterday actually. Maybe you scrolled past my posts, that's fine if you did, up to you!

A poster above posted something about Simon Rouse (?) analysing Oprah talking about that interview.

It was interesting to say the least.

I don’t know who advised H&M to do that interview - I think that it was a spectacularly bad idea.

H absolutely should have known better but perhaps thought he actually was in the right - who knows?

It wasn’t a great interview by any stretch and it wasn’t the shiny spotlight they maybe thought it would be.

It was rather sensationalist and unfortunately what they said or alluded to there could never be taken back, although H tried and failed I think.

Unfortunately if you speak badly of others in public or allude to things vaguely in order to cast aspersions, it should not come as a surprise if others do the same to you. Folk usually reap what they sow and so it has come to be.

I don’t ‘hate’ either of them. I think H is not the poor hard done thing that many make him out to be and I do think that it is desperately unfair that M gets the blame for him being the way he is.

I did try to post a photo of DW’s tweet - unfortunately it has not been authorised.

It wasn't terribly bad but tweet he did about H’s comment and so it is relevant to talk about the subject matter.

But mention of something Harry said is somehow not relevant to a thread about….harry and Meghan? Particularly as Dan Wooten himself mentioned the Harry quote!
i would imagine that an American poster would indeed focus on that comment and it doesn’t take a genius to understand why .
facts are facts and can’t be argued around despite them being uncomfortable.
