The Montecito diaries continue……..will it be Balmoral or bust?

I think it’s a low wall and not grass.

I think it’s normal to have paving surround sloping downwards slightly to allow water to drain away.
The low angle of the photo means you don’t see quite how far the paving extends.

bluegreygreen · 24/07/2026 16:12

I think Meghan gets most of the blame for photographs because she is the one who posts them on her Instagram, while Harry is the one who speaks most about not putting photographs of children online.
(They are shared on a social media account which he is said to use.)

Otherwise, there is usually criticism of both (and more criticism of Harry when it comes to dealing with his family).

Yes, I think that's fair enough because she's the one posting the images.

Could someone post the lavender photo? I saw it earlier but can't remember how I found it.

It’s in this article if you scroll right down.

Note how you don’t see M’s face. As ever, odd. Yet still, somehow, tacky.

As far as I’m concerned they are as bad as each other and both up to their necks in it!!
a fact I hope will be considered if they do separate and the whole “it was Meghans fault “ is used to facilitate Harry’s return.

Are you sure?

They need to sack the bricklayer as it slopes down to the right and there are a lot small strands poking up that look like grass.

I don't think Lili looks real in this picture - it would take a huge throw to throw her way above Harry's head height

I think they are trying to recreate those famous Diana diving photos from her final holiday in 1997

I’m not sure at all, 😀to me it looks like the bits poking up, which I initially thought was grass, is in fact water splashes.

It could also be Montecito, they have a strip of grass and a hedge after the pool terrace, the depth perception of how the photo was converted to a B&W image, could make it look like there was only 1 row of stone.

Anyway, good ole Megs, you have to hand it to her, she really knows how to keep us fans on our toes 😜😜

Is this the picture? , personally I don’t think it looks like it’s likely to be a grave at all ! , the flowers that Harry and the children were carrying were obviously bouquets of different flowers, the lavender doesn’t look the same and nobody ( I include ham in this !) would literally throw flowers haphazardly on a grave like this! , it’s messy and disrespectful!

I'm calling Montecito . 😂

Yes, in relation to my earlier post about who takes a pool photo then filters it into B+W, the answer could be 'someone who wants to make it less easy to identify that pool by way of the colour of the stone surrounds etc'. This would be potentially a way of obscuring some of these summer photos being taken at home in Montecito.

The DM calls the lavender photo 'a harvest of lavender', which seems much more likely, given the volume.

Cismyfatarse · 24/07/2026 16:44

Harry and Meghan’s photos show a perfect summer. Why aren’t they happy?

There seems to be a black stone/granite slab under the lavender - which I think has caused the speculation

This is turning into one of the most informative and off-the-wall derails I've ever come acoss on the Royal Family forum.

Seriously man, the shit I learn on here is off the charts😂😎

Dads can easily throw kids that high. The kids love it (me watching, less so!)
I do think however, if she were able, MM would be dovediving in quick as a flash. I don't think she is able though - see the trainers and swimsuit pic. I'm not sure she would have even gone in the water.

GoddammitPrincess · 24/07/2026 17:11

jeffgoldblum · 24/07/2026 12:59

And the parked cars and trucks parked mere metres from the plane?
it’s obviously an AI or photoshopped picture, the black window seal is curved in the picture as are several of the bumpers of the vehicles!
honestly I think you owe @CormorantWings an apology.
sorry not cormorant! Corblimy!

Edited

This has got to be one of the weirdest derails on this thread ever! Why on earth should she apologise! She’s got decades of experience as a pilot and the other poster was rude and tried to tell her she knew better!

And as PP mentioned, it is indeed a very interesting detail!

I am not aware of Meghan being sporty which is up to her however given her determination to be Diana 2 I would have thought she would be keen to show her swimming and tennis skills .

OF late posters have been saying Harry doesn’t look well but in one of the pics it’s very clear to see he’s muscular and has a very well defined torso. Tossing a wee girl up in the air be easy for him.

FenellaFeldman · 24/07/2026 14:01

Fine, why not just keep it all private, especially for the sake of the children?.

Because we all have freewill as far I can tell to decide if we want social media accounts and if we want to post anything and what to post. You might think they shouldn't nor would you post pictures of your children..wonderful for you but other people are free to make their own decisions. Also don't look at them if it bothers you so much. 🤷

LipglossAndLies · 24/07/2026 17:23

PullTheBricksDown · 24/07/2026 14:00

That's a nice photo, but don't you think it'd be even nicer in full colour rather than the stylised black and while version?

I stylise some of my pictures as I like black and white ones. Sure they look good in colour but some I just prefer black or white or a vintage filter etc. Doesn't take away from it still being a lovely picture 💁‍♀️ hardly a disaster

What a bizarre interpretation! This is a couple known for lamenting their lack of privacy. They have supposedly rejected a public royal role, they have made pronouncements about children and social media. (It's so bad!!) Yet here they are. Hypocrisy.
No, I don't have to look at them. Yes, they have free will. It would appear that their free will means that they will exploit their children's privacy.

Love it. Very well done.

[Meghan] told People magazine — wait, no, silly me, a “source who knows the couple” told People magazine — that she felt “humiliated” by the chaos that surrounded their trip to the UK, which rather makes you wonder why they bothered creating it in the first place.

“There’s a lot of sadness,” another “source” told the same magazine, about the fact that she suddenly “wasn’t able to be by his side” at the Invictus event in Birmingham. Why? Because their security provision was exactly the same as it has been since Megxit. Nothing about it has changed or been suddenly sprung on them. This makes them furious too.

These are Sussex People, Lynn!

bluegreygreen · 24/07/2026 17:28

You might think they shouldn't nor would you post pictures of your children..wonderful for you but other people are free to make their own decisions.

Harry, of course, advised others not to post pictures of children online when he appeared in Hasan Minhaj's podcast:

Minhaj asked for his thoughts on images online being manipulated with AI and whether parents should post photos of their children online.
“Parents can do whatever they want,” Harry responded.
“But from what I’ve seen, what I’ve heard, what I’ve experienced, is you should be really really worried, concerned and cautious about putting photographs of your kids online."

Haha are you serious? In that quote where does he say do not post pictures of your kids online? He said be cautious but ultimately as parents you decide. Its not even remotely telling people not to do it.

The Lavender post either
a) is Diana’s grave or
b)Isn’t Diana’s grave
What we do know is that nobody will confirm or deny it.
I know that - so I’m bloody sure Meghan knew that when she posted this picture which she absolutely knew would spark speculation.
Either way - it’s fucking ghoulish and horrendously disrespectful.
Diana was no saint but she was greatly loved and deserves to rest peacefully without someone who should respect her trying to get attention vicariously by causing speculation.
To say I’m disgusted doesn’t come close.
I hope that she is never allowed near Diana again.
What a low, scummy thing to do.

This is what Charles Spencer said in 1998 about the resting place:

“The lake will act as a buffer against the interventions of the insane and ghoulish, the thick mud presenting a further line of defence.”

Would be bizarre if a family member was insane and ghoulish….
