Nobody seems to know for sure. Why should we care. Maybe he doesn't even know himself yet. He can't seem to do anything without attracting lots of press articles.

Meghan will have to find a house and garden now which resembles Highgrove and film the kids running around (backs only) while it’s implied she sits at a table with Charles eating her jam.

I really hope KC confronted them on their lies and behaviour. It seems PH and MM think that they can go back to being included in private royal life.
MM has no status at all and KC must be appalled by her actions and words.

No, there is an intimacy in this type of conversation and I hope he remained more formal.

I think that's a very good point. In fact, towards the end C&D had reached a rapprochement, and could have continued on good terms.
People do need to move on.

People should aslo move on from the oprah interview, the book, their wedding, her pregnancies, their time when they were working royals all of which is over 5 years ago! However if people won't do tell us the time limit so its known when we can no longer bring things up

By all accounts they were friends before she died! , there is a nice story of him landing ( by helicopter) on her lawn and popping in to use the loo! , apparently she said “ same time next week?”

I think a lot of people forget as well, just how much he went out his away and against his own family to bring her body home when she died. She wasn't an official member of the Royal family, she wasn't entitled to ceremonial treatment but he pushed against the Queen and arranged for her body to come back on an official plane to the UK so she could come back in a more dignified and quicker manner.

What I want to know is did Meghan bring her jam for Charles to try?

I like to think she turned up with a Tupperware box containing a dozen scones made with heavy cream and sprinkled with guinea-pig food, some pretzels in an unbranded cellophane bag, and one jar each of raspberry, strawberry and orange spread. The As Ever Carolean snack box, available in the USA from 12 July.

It’s because it interferes with their narrative!

20 / 15 years is the cut off!

No. We're not talking about 35 years ago, but nice try! Those things are evidence of H&Ms lies and greed. Which they continue to perpetuate and monetise. The lies and greed haven't ended! Why should people move on from that when the damage is still being done?
The day they come clean, apologise, retract all the stupid stories is the day we can all move on.

I personally think the cut off will be when Harry and Meghan do the mature thing and apologise for their behaviour.
Maybe get jobs so they're no longer relying on story telling! 😉 Who knows.

Well no, because all of that is still relevant to where we are today, and ongoing saga which H&M constantly feed us, Charles and Diana’s marriage and extra marital affairs are literally ancient history and have no bearing on H&M’s latest nonsense, you may as well bring Henry the Eighth into the equation, it’s frankly ridiculous.

True. Although I can't in all seriousness believe that was a genuine question!
We know the Sussexes are still living like this, still behaving like this. Whereas Diana died 29 years ago. Even the super fans understand that! 😄

I think people might move on when others stop asking why the pair enjoy their well-earned reputation as untrustworthy, disloyal and dishonest characters.

But there is no need to go back that far to make the point, anyway. They’ve provided a raft of fresh examples over the past week.

diddl · 11/07/2026 15:29

What is so odd is that they wanted to remain connected to the RF hence half in half out but when that wasn't allowed they trashed them!

Perhaps they thought that there would be endless money in doing that?

LifeIsTooShort247 · 11/07/2026 15:31

So if they never apologise will you spend the rest of your life on here still bringing it up?

They may, at some point, decide to move on from this kind of destructive lifestyle. I hope they do. However, in all honesty, they will get less and less relevant. They're already middle aged.
Will people still be interested in an old couple, now even more remote from the throne trying to sell more privacy and lies?
It's not going to work, they're going to have to jack it in at some point.

You won’t be surprised that I disagree.

Charles strikes me as someone who has always put his personal happiness and that of his mistress, now wife, ahead of his children. Both of his parents were distant from him for different reasons and he didn’t have a good example of fatherhood to draw on among his circle.

It’s reported by many respected journalists that behind closed doors, William does not get on particularly well with his father either.

When two of your dc have issues with you then I think the problem is probably with you and not with them.

And Charles’s betrayal of their mother cannot have helped.

Hence all the subsequent fall out and drama because the issues in this family remain unresolved. Everyone can say very conveniently that the events of thirty years ago don’t matter but but many respected psychologists would disagree. It probably is easier not to examine events and move on if you are on the “winning side”. But if you fall in to the category of collateral damage then you may well still very much want things discussed. I believe that is what Harry, probably unwisely, was doing when he went to the press, he was forcing the issue. And he was black-balled for it. It’s well know for divided dysfunctional families to unite in their condemnation of the one who speaks up.

Harry wasn't "speaking up". You make it sound like something positive.
Harry decided, with Meghan, to leave the RF in order to make money. Fine. They way they chose was to invade the privacy of the RF and sell stories. Unfortunately, these stories have proved to be at best, exaggerations and distortions, at worse, lies.
Also, is it really a way to live your life? It's not healthy. They both need to move on.

OlympicWomen · 11/07/2026 15:51

Harry is almost 42. He is a father of two children.
Those of his supporters who still blame his dad need to consider that.
Most people learn to move on.

I’m impressed!! Not only because you read all that but because you understood it!

I didn't read it.
It's predictable, it's the usual playbook. Harry is a victim, his dad was horrible, his dad cheated,Harry's the most put upon person in history, you get it. The usual.
Was the sausage mentioned?
Anyway, none of it is an excuse and it's laughable really.
