I don’t think she has anything to sell on QVC and I am not sure they could secure any deal for a TV show - except something semi scripted which took the piss out of themselves - but the delusional and grandiose Harkle’s take themselves too seriously.

What are their current revenue streams?

Travelyst, Better Up, As Ever? I doubt there’s much profit at this early stage in As Ever.

Fair point. Maybe she could sell Temu kind of clothes? Maybe a reality show, but the pair of them are so inadequate it would probably bomb.
I can't think what else they can do, except beg KC for more dosh.

Talking about the Ring ? Think this is more apt.

Weird threads happening at the moment - another one now about that Norman Baker DM article from a few days ago. All the old H+M fan club back on the boards, trotting out the same old stuff about posters obsessed with hating Meghan and no wonder they had to escape. It feels to me like something’s afoot. So - has Charles said no to a visit? Has the ANL case or the RAVEC decision not gone Harry’s way? Have they been told no meeting unless they stop bigging themselves up, briefing the press with lies about Charles paying for security - so negative press about the Waleses is the next best thing? Are they trying to look good in comparison to the Waleses to boost their chances of coming back / half in half out / Harry doing royal engagements again? Public opinion and the Sussexes’ terrible behaviour, reputations and popularity ratings must be part of the argument against this. Or maybe they’re just getting ahead of some big royal press moments coming up, Wimbledon and George’s birthday.. 🤔

Well …. I hate to highlight my conspiracy theory! 😁

You're both right!

noonames · Yesterday 20:23

There’s definitely been a change in the PR strategy after the stories about Charles paying for their security were immediately denied. I guess they weren’t expecting any comeback from that particular lie.

DaisyDooley · Yesterday 20:25

Christ they are nasty buggers on that other thread aren’t they?
Apparently William can’t read very well, as well as the usual lazy, someone dresses them 🤦‍♀️etc.
Seems there’s no crap they won’t throw in the desperate hope something sticks.

They are so thick they don’t even know what a valet/dresser does!

noonames · Yesterday 20:26

The thread about the Sussex children is wild - on the one hand saying how disgusting it is, all these many, many people spreading such rumours, and on the other chortling about people trying to get it deleted 🤷‍♀️

And someone on the William is lazy thread just suggested that William can’t read properly 😵‍💫

I feel like the talent pool of Sussex supporters is getting shallower 😬

noonames · Yesterday 20:28

Thing is there are plenty of sensible arguments to be made about the monarchy and the Waleses too. But ‘he gets put to bed by staff and he can’t even read’ are not sensible arguments imo.

Yes, in-fact there have been one or two threads in recent times where an intelligent debate has been had on the pros and cons of a monarchy, and they have made for interesting reading.

Unfortunately, the William is Lazy thread isn’t going to be one of those 🙄

And he only became an Air ambulance pilot to avoid royal duties apparently 😂

Yes! He was too lazy to do royal duties (even though they are apparently super easy), so got a job instead. But also - he gave up the job so that he could laze around as a so called working royal 🤷‍♀️

  1. royal duties are easy
  2. royal duties are too hard for lazy William, it’s easier to have a real job
  3. having a real job is too hard for lazy William, it’s easier to be a working royal

I saw something similar, maybe earlier on the same thread actually, can’t remember.

  1. William is lazy, he doesn’t do anything
  2. William works his staff too hard, sending them emails outside working hours

Make it make sense 🤷‍♀️🥨

BasiliskStare · Yesterday 21:28

Oh FFS @corblimeygvnr - that ring snippet ( whilst funny ) is awfully disturbing.
Although when I ever watched something scary when I was younger on the TV , my mother would say , don't forget there is a man behind the camera filming this , so it can't actually be that bad. Although perhaps some of M's output ....😂
It didn't stop us going together to lock the back door after watching the original of "The Haunting".

I agree - kind of nice in a way to see some of the old gang back but I wish they’d come up with some new arguments!

to quote @BigWillyLittleTodger this of course

Can I just mention that I have bet a friend £50 that M and the DC will not come to the U.K. next month? ( wine might have been involved).

It's not a bad wager 🍷 I suspect the bookies have stopped taking bets.

Very tarsome indeed, @MrsEmmelineLucas

Delurked specially for that, couldn't help myself, might have to name change to Georgie 😉

Interesting - can’t work out if it’s a piss take - P6 is supposed to be H&M mouthpiece?

Oh good heavens.

BasiliskStare · Yesterday 23:03

I do recall reading this after H's "establishment stitch up" interview. I think I also read the BBC admitted they sent one of their less experienced reporters to do the interview.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/may/06/bbc-admits-lapse-in-standards-around-coverage-of-prince-harry-interview

However the BBC apology didn't come anywhere near the coverage for H's interview.

ETA - it amused me that again they were criticised for an interview of a close protection officer , referred to as Aitch ( he is called Richard Aitch - but it did make me laugh) The BBC not making it very clear their interview with H whinging and letting him do so without proper questioning , not so much.

They’re frankly the sort of arguments that clever monarchist strategists might come up with, to (a) make Republic supporters look even more mental, (b) drop hints that the Sussex PR machine is behind it all, and (c) drum up even more sympathy and support for William and Catherine Wales.

But I do actually think it’s the dense sugary lot surfing in on the spite of the principals.
