Worried about Beatrice/Eduardo

First of all I know there’s a cloud hanging over the York daughters but I don’t want to get into that here as it’s been covered thoroughly on other threads - it’s more about the pictures of them arriving at the Philips wedding the other day.

Did anyone else think that things looked very strained between Beatrice and her husband? To me it looked like they were both putting on a show for the public but he has checked out. I really hope I am wrong because she’s got very small children to look after, and diabolical parents who are no support at all.
It’s very sad.

How about we all mind our own business and don't start unfounded rumours?

PollyBell · 09/06/2026 12:10

What is sad? People not living theot life the way random strangers think they should?

shellyleppard · 09/06/2026 12:11

He always looks like that.... every photo of them together

Overtheatlantic · 09/06/2026 12:16

It’s not for you to be worried about strangers not remotely connected to you. Or are you trying to stir?

ShetlandishMum · 09/06/2026 12:17

None of my business. They can afford counselling, a divorce or whatever they want without going hungry to bed.

TheToteBagLady · 09/06/2026 12:19

Maybe he doesn’t like being photographed?

This. I honestly couldn’t give two tugs of a dead dog’s cock about any of these grifters, and I can’t understand why anyone would.

LBFseBrom · 09/06/2026 12:22

They looked OK to me at the wedding.

I imagine Beatrice's parents are very supportive of her and Eugenie, they've always struck me as being a loving family.

If there is something wrong we'll know soon enough, no point speculating.

SandrenaIsMyBloodType · 09/06/2026 12:25

Can you imagine living with the pressure that means even a short walk from a car to a church door is scrutinised by total strangers who will use your body language to decide to infer things about the state of your marriage and then post their ill-informed reckonings on the internet?

How the hell is anyone supposed to behave naturally under these circumstances? There’s every chance that the only problem he has is coping with this sort of ludicrous speculation.

It is kind of their job……

EnoughRain · 09/06/2026 12:28

Are you really worried about these strangers, OP? The mind boggles 😵‍💫

How do you know her parents are ‘no support’? Do you know them?

"two tugs of a dead dog's cock" 😂 not heard that before, going to use it instead of my usual go to expression of total indifference of not giving a flying fuck

Well…given that Andrew’s idea of supporting Eugenie at a funeral was sticking his hand up her skirt, I doubt he’s all that much use.

Runsaway · 09/06/2026 12:35

Perhaps they look strained or as if they were putting on a show - if they are - because some malicious gossiping numpty on Mumsnet was bound to make up a load of unsubstantiated lies about them and publish those lies across the entire world.

Lifeomars · 09/06/2026 12:35

No never give them a thought because in my real everyday life I have people that I love and care about who are going through very tough times including the death of a child, the suicide of a loved one and a serious health problem. That is who I expend my time, care and mental energy on

VioletandMauve · 09/06/2026 12:38

Good grief - if you worry about stuff like that then I worry about you.

Tiddlywinks63 · 09/06/2026 12:41

Thankfully I have more interesting things to think about e.g whether the washing machine has finished or if the weather is going to stay dry so I can hang the washing out.

Er- what?

ijustwanttoworkout · 09/06/2026 12:42

They won’t look after their children. We pay for them to have a nanny.

For the “working royals” - yes I agree. But Beatrice isn’t a working royal. She gets a lot of the hassle without the income.

I do feel for her DH, he married in to a minor part of the family. Reasonably could assume that with William and Harry married with dcs, the press wouldn’t be very interested in them. That while the late Queen was still alive, Beatrice had the high status of grandchild to the monarch. but as soon as she passed, his new wife’s status would be even lower, just the niece of the King, then cousin of the next one. Not really important enough to get press attention.

Then his father in law ended up being a dodgy nonce and suddenly everyone’s interested in them again.

SwatTheTwit · 09/06/2026 12:44

I’m sure she’ll live.

MrsBatshitRatshit · 09/06/2026 12:46

I don't think you need to worry about Beatrice and her husband. They almost certainly aren't thinking about you. But if you have so much spare headspace that you need to spend it on the wellbeing of complete strangers, why not pick some who are not in the most privileged 0.01% of humanity?

BillieWiper · 09/06/2026 12:47

She needs to get a proper job. What does this Edo do for a living? They're a couple of numpties. Well he must be to have married her. Why has she never paid rent in her life? Lazy cow. She's just as bad as her mum. If not worse because she should've seen what a car crash her parents were and distanced herself from them long ago. But nope. Free money forever.

JetFlight · 09/06/2026 12:49

Op, kindly, your imagination is going down strange negative paths. Firstly, you may be completely wrong and secondly, if you’re right, then it might be for the best.
There’s no need to worry about them. They have family, they have money, their kids will still have love, care, food, clothes, private education and lavish homes and lifestyle.

and yet to do it to Harry and Meghan if fine tho by all accounts……(generalising).
