I anm always amazed by their seemingly infinite ability to reset the scales to zero each and every time something comes up. They will find a justification for the behaviours each and every time, Often they assert that everyone around the Sussexes is jealous, corrupt or lying, or that its a racist perspective, a massive conspiracy of the apparently all-powerful royal family and/or British media etc. They never stand back and look at the sheer mass of examples of poor / hypocritical / dishonest behaviours over many years now. Which, rationally, must at some stage prompt a re-assessment of even the strongest positive opinion of the couple, you would think?

Excellent post @noonames! And yet ( im sure im not the only one here who remembers!) , every single one of those inconsistencies (lies!) were brought up at the time and roundly defended by posters that are still on this sub! 🤷‍♀️ anyone who questioned it was labelled a “racist “ ! Even criticism of Harry a white privileged prince was defended by cries of racism! 😡

The excuses and pretzel logic of the Sussex defenders would make another interesting list!

Yes but , I wouldn’t if I were you! , they were allowed and defended with different standards than those who were critical! 🤷‍♀️

I think the numbers have gone down, I haven’t really kept track but I thought it was in the high 900k s previously. I suppose with Netflix boss unfollowing a few others will have followed suit.

IMHO, Americans don't care about the Sussexes and the US has effectively checked out as evidenced by the dismal Netflix viewership numbers and Netflix ditching the "As ever" lifestyle brand. The Sussexes buy media space in celeb magazines because they do not generate organic coverage from watchable projects e.g. Taylor Swift releases albums, Zendaya stars in movies, etc.

It is standard for actors/singers/influencer, etc. to buy bots to increase their online profile and attract sponsorship money. The pro-Sussex online rhetoric is highly co-ordinated with multiple accounts publishing very similar statements on the theme of the moment.

I doubt there are very many real-live Sussex fans...many melted away, some grew up and the few that remain are the hard-core super awful "cancer truthers"...too few in numbers to support H&M's desired lifestyle.

I think one of the worst lies Hazbeen ever told was when he claimed that he was told of his great grandmother's death (the late Queen Mother) by a courtier, when he was at school, complete with fake memories of light shining through the stained glass window. Turned out that was complete fiction; he was on a skiing holiday at the time with his father and brother, so it was Charles who told him the sad news. Since then, I have never trusted a single word he says!

We all know teen lads can be horrible and it's awful to think of Pat trying to keep a smile on her face rather than let them know she was upset, but it's something else again to recount the story with relish as an adult

Fortunately most of us mature, but as so many have said Harry appears to be stuck at about 13 - and not just about Pat

Agree @Puzzledandpissedoff - it's one of the things that tells me that Harry himself is an unpleasant individual.

Some people may behave that way as teenagers; most adults will be mortified to recall it, and if they do happen to tell the story publicly (rather than avoid it) will do so apologetically and explain that they now know much better.

There is a theory that people who suffer a catastrophic event in childhood may get stuck at that age in some of their mental patterns and behaviours. Maybe that's the case for H, but with the amount of therapy he's had (or claims to have had), you might expect him to be a bit further on.

I get the impression that whatever therapy William has had, he's done the hard yards and tackled the hard questions, but that Harry just hasn't. He reminds me of a friend who has spent literally thousands on physiotherapy in the last few years with absolutely no improvement, because she just gets the physio to give her "a lovely massage".

TBH I think Harry does a lot of "Therapist Shopping" - switches therapists until he finds one that tells him what he wants to hear and tells him he is the victim in everything.
