Lovely company at Windsor Castle

A man who procured minors for prostitution and then more charges for sex trafficking (Epstein)

A serial rapist (Weinstein)

A convicted child sex offender and sex trafficker (Maxwell)

Tried to link a pic, it didn't work.

What I don’t get is that Sarah Ferguson told Epstein that one of the daughters, (forget which one) was on a shagging weekend. Who says that about their dd, to a man like that? How sick, how perverse, do you have to be? I cannot fathom it. I really can’t.

That’s why people like Weinstein, Epstein, Maxwell were there. It’s not normal to be like that.

And no way the government didn’t know. Mandelson isn’t the only one. Not by a long shot.

Disgusting. And Epstein’s costume.

That is truly sick. We knew about him before the files were dropped but had no idea she was like that.

Yeah, I guess raking over the same old stuff achieves nothing eh?
No lessons to be learned, nothing to see here, just move on...

I fairly doubt HMQ will learn anything at this point.

IAmATorturedPoet · 06/07/2026 22:15

I’m not sure anyone had SF down as being involved to that extent.. Turned out she was up to her bloody neck in it. Quite shocking.

simpsonthecat · 06/07/2026 22:15

What I don't understand is they have all this security, MI5, police forces, lawyers, whoever...people are vetted to within an inch of their lives before they can get near a royal...yet those three just waltz into WIndsor Castle. And Maxwell and Epstein to Balmoral and Sandringham also
I KNOW they weren't charged at that point but there must have been enough intelligence about what they were up to. And Epstein had charges against him when the party took place

She’s dead. Of course she won’t learn anything. The machinery she left behind? That’s questionable.

That was a shock to me and I never particularly thought well of her. I had to see those emails to believe it.

I sincerely doubt that it was seen as anything more than women throwing themselves at rich men, even by the people vetting everyone.

As for the accusations, likely they were written off and explained away as someone trying to make a buck.

We met a wealthy person recently who said they had endless lawsuits against them going. Not criminal, but still something I can’t fathom. He didn’t care one bit.

OccasionalHope · 06/07/2026 22:38

More on Pizza Express on the news tonight. Not quite a smoking gun (no evidence he was there but none that he wasn't either) but another brick in the wall I guess.

simpsonthecat · 06/07/2026 22:43

But despite accusations swirling around and JE already being charged with procuring miners for prostitution, that wasn't enough to drop them off an invite list to Windsor Castle where QE2,and family were present?
What's the point of MI5, intelligence, multiple police forces and security personnel then

Minors (as young as 13 as far as JE is concerned) do not throw themselves at rich men

Do you think AMW’s victims are to blame?

What on earth?! No of course not!!

Do you think AMW’s victims are to blame?

Why would you ask that? Do you?!

We were talking about who else knew and what they knew and how these people were allowed anywhere near any palace.

Decacaffeinatednow · 06/07/2026 23:25

No I don’t
it’s just your comment about the wealthy person you know having endless law suits going against them made me wonder,

To illustrate that wealthy people and people in the public eye might more easily accept the explanation that another wealthy person was dealing with a frivolous accusation.

Let’s all remember one thing! This was a CIVIL case , not a CRIMINAL one , the only thing that would have happened if Andrew had been found guilty is damages ( ie money) no prison sentence, no criminal charges. By settling they both walked away without having to stand in court and be interrogated by lawyers! , does anyone think that would have been good for either party? Have you seen what they put through victims of rape on the stand? , it’s not pretty and it’s not nice! , this was the best outcome for VG and Andrew.

Maybe Virginia Giuffre wanted her experiences heard in a court room Jeffgoldblum and to be taken seriously?

Part of being a victim of coercive behaviour or sexual assault is that you are not believed.

And let’s not pretend that it wasn’t highly convenient for AMW and his family to be able to pay the money and cover up what he had done,

I think any concerns about these people being at Windsor would have been presented to QE2 who let her favourite son get away with anything.

And listening to various podcasts about Epstein and AMW, it seems like there was allegedly a degree of compliance with some of the PPOs, some of whom started wearing double breasted jackets, signet rings and started putting Windsor knots in their ties.

Not all of them; some complained about AMW and had their jobs threatened or were demoted or posted elsewhere. According to Lownie, some of them who want to speak out now have received reminders about the terms of their pensions.

You make it sound like VG had no autonomy in accepting the settlement!
had she wanted to be heard In court she could have declined it.

and don’t assume that posters you don’t know, are not personally familiar with both sexual assault and control.

Decacaffeinatednow · 07/07/2026 09:04

It’s great that the arrest and ongoing investigation into alleged criminal activities by AMW is being conducted by Thanes Valley Police and not the Met.
They seem much less inclined to not look too closely than their counterparts in London.

simpsonthecat · 07/07/2026 09:04

Going up against the British monarchy with all their resources after they had basically called you a liar must have had some bearing on VGs decision.
I read somewhere back in the day that AMWs legal bill just in the US was six figures

Her lawyers would have handled it , she was brave enough to take on Epstein and his many, many resources, I very much doubt that Andrew is quite as intimidating!
portraying her as perpetual victim with no autonomy , is one of the things many survivors rail against!
