PR disasters of Meghan and Harry.

Left off at the last page with Meg selling candles to people who want to know what her young children smell like. She’s also using the kids full titles in the press release….just for a dash of extra exploitation.

As you were

Although “greyrocking “ Ham at the beginning was a smart choice and the normal way the rf deals with things , I’m afraid many of us know that when you are dealing with people like ham , ignoring them drives them absolutely insane and they do more and more outlandish things to get your attention or reaction!
this is fine for most of us but unfortunately not when you are dealing with someone who has the platform and ability to lob bombs while the entire world looks on!!

He’s like a teenage boy trying to get a rise out of his father.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 24/04/2026 18:19

Harry is completely out of his depth ... His hubris is increasingly astonishing

Bound to be, @BasiliskStare; with an intellect as limited as that there's little hope of anything better

TBH I'm a bit surprised any of these leaders dignified his ramblings with a response, unless it was to say that they're of no interest
It really shouldn't matter what Harry sees himself as ... humanitarian, working royal, whatever ... any comment from the palace is unlikely to stop him, but why some continue to offer him a patform defeats me

Exactly he is throwing the mother of all tantrums and screaming into the void because he isn’t getting what he wants!

One of them was about a British Royal Duke who falls in love with an American when visiting his American duchy lands. 😁

I need the laugh emoji back. I never know how to react to funny posts now. Thanks seems mild but I feel that the love reaction might scare other posters.

Oh seriously like, I'm loving rings round me so apologies everyone I mean laughter 😂😂Please let us have the jaysus laughing emoji back!

(Grey rocking) is fine for most of us but unfortunately not when you are dealing with someone who has the platform and ability to lob bombs while the entire world looks on!!

It's an important and absolutely valid point, @jeffgoldblum, but again, what the hell are they supposed to do?

The late Queen already made it clear H&M wouldn't be working royals, and yet Harry insists he is
The Foreign office stated he's not representing the UK aany more (over Columbia I think?) and he still carries on as if he does
His wretched father could make a statement and the only difference it would probably make is to give Harry a chance to whine about "being silenced"

To my mind the only real option if for people with sense to refuse him a platform, so that he could rant from Montecito but not on any world stage, but sadly people with sense seem to be at something of a premium

Although I do see your point @Puzzledandpissedoff, he has gone beyond the silly tours and publicly made comments to trump and Putin , neither invited him to do so and neither are people you would expect to silently ignore pointed barbs!
he stood on a podium and was recorded making these statements from Ukraine with his titles blown up on a banner behind him flanked by two very large U.K. flags!
he has now announced that he is a working royal despite the fact he is not!
this isn’t going to stop unless somebody sets him straight.

Seen an interesting comment on Reddit that makes sense.

They say him pushing the working royal narrative is showing that Archewell is completely over. They have never mentioned Archewell Philanthropies when they are doing humanitarian/charity work in Ukraine or Australia.

So because that’s over, because they couldn’t make the foundation work, they are back to pushing the Royal connections and that they only excuse they have to be doing this type of work.

Edited

That is interesting, I too had noticed the lack of any reference to Archewell in their own news pages during the Australia trip. Thought it was odd as on previous trips they had at least appeared to be supporting some causes through their foundation.

looks like a shift away from philanthropy or maybe Archewell 2 is not set up yet?

Puzzledandpissedoff · 24/04/2026 18:57

I know, @jeffgoldblum, and fully agree with you that it's absolutely appalling - the more so because, as you rightly say, Putin and Trump aren't the type to shrug his nonsense off

It's honestly not that I disagree with any of this, more that I don't know who can stop Harry as long as there are foolish people prepared to humour him.
Admittedly that hasn't included any major national leaders so far - whether because of behind the scenes pressure or not there's no knowing - but who exactly will be able to "set him straight" when there's every indication he regards anything but full agreement as an attack to be rebutted with ever wilder remarks?

Starryfifty · 24/04/2026 19:01

What is "activism work" ? Jesus, he talks some nonsense.

The RF now looks like a complete joke. It's no coincidence this imbecile is doing this coming up to his Father's visit to US

What he says v reality

He says "I" six times and "people" once. Yeah that's the language of someone who is all about others 🤨

Harry told ITV reporter Chris Ship: 'What would worry me is if we live in a world where anyone in my position can’t speak about the very things and the realities we are seeing, and hold those in leadership positions accountable.'

I thought this quote from the DM article was noteworthy too.

It's ok Harry minor celebrities are allowed spout whatever crap they like. Carry on showing people who you are.

If someone is going to set him straight it needs to be the Government, not the monarch. If Charles says anything about this he will be risking getting into the middle of the politics swirling around. I still think the way forward is to remove them from the website and let the government handle the political stuff, if indeed they feel that is necessary.

Just because Harry says he is a working royal doesn't mean that anyone is treating him like one. He doesn't meet Heads of State, he doesn't get invited to serious political events. I find him immensely frustrating and irritating but I'm not sure i see evidence that he is being taken seriously by anyone that matters, anymore than any other celebrity would be.

I think Harry looked like a joke but i don't think the working royals do.

TheAutumnCrow · 24/04/2026 19:48

I think it’s not a strong look for either the Head of State or the Government of the UK to be passing the buck on this to each other, just because neither of them want to called the bad guy by an orchestrated bunch of nutters.

Mind you, it’s exactly what the Government have done over the Equality Act Supreme Court ruling, which is a bad situation for all parties involved who need that clarity … so I’m not surprised.

The rather angry Russian spokesman publicly called Harry a nazi on Russian state tv! , how much worse does this have to become?

Russian opinion on Harry
https://archive.is/GmPhI

“This is the prince who was photographed in a Nazi uniform, right?”

“This Harry…came to join his Nazi brothers [in Ukraine],” he told his viewers on primetime television across Russia.

Well he walked straight into their hands. Useful idiot.

At this point, I don’t care if it’s the government, Ralph the no 10 tea boy or Charles or the infamous men in grey , I don’t care if they rerelease the sandrinham statement, send a strongly worded email or hire a skywriter , something, anything must be done.

To quote Sister Michael from Derry Girls, that’s actually quite funny.

But yet not.

Agree. It's beyond ridiculous now. I'm honestly not being funny but is he on drugs, prescription or otherwise? Or clinically stupid?
