PR disasters of Meghan and Harry.

Left off at the last page with Meg selling candles to people who want to know what her young children smell like. She’s also using the kids full titles in the press release….just for a dash of extra exploitation.

As you were

This King hopes to see more of his son and his grandchild in UK before long…….

Am I reading this that the offer has been made to PH, A&L and MM is excluded from any meet ups with The King?

Are the RF making it clear that they have offered this olive branch as a first step in reconciliation BUT MM is NFI????

The headline of Richard Eden's article makes it clear that this narrative is being briefed to the press from Montecito. So this is clearly what Harry and Meghan want to happen but they have briefed these types of stories before which turned out to be fake.

I don't think we've ever seen anything leaked from the palace in quite that way, whereas 'This will happen in Britain before long' carries echoes of some previous apparently definitive statements from California.

bluegreygreen · Yesterday 22:39

Looks like we're thinking along the same lines @Lunde!

But what are they hoping for? To move back into Frogmore Cottage and start being working royals visiting garden centres and the like? And the British public are just going to forget the whole "you're all racist" stuff and cheer them on? I appreciate they're not necessarily well acquainted with reality, but seriously?! I can't see how even in the wildest realms of their fantasy world, moving back to Britain can make any sense. That would be the clearest possible admission of failure, and they will be booed. Loudly. Everywhere they go. It's absurd.

But then I also probably wouldn't try to get other people to buy a candle that smelt like my kids. So what do I know.

They will have limitless wealth for doing very little. It's perfect IMO. Everything else has gone tits up

BigWillyLittleTodger · Yesterday 23:03

Frogmore Cottage wouldn’t be good enough! They probably have their eyes on Royal Lodge, it’s much bigger than Forest Lodge…… What they are hoping for is the big grand house (must be bigger than W&C’s house of course) and then they will want to attend all state banquets, balcony appearances, meetings with heads of state, film premieres etc. none of the grunt work or the unglamorous stuff, they are far above that, leave that to the plebs, Ann, Edward and Sophie. Alongside that they will want to make commercial deals with the big guns using the full HRH titles, the ability to accept any gifts that come their way from designers and luxury companies and full armed security 24/7/365 even when not attending royal events. The Palace would have to issue a statement saying that the rules have been changed and Meghan no longer needs to curtesy to Catherine or walk behind her……

Well yeah, I get why they might want it - but they must have noticed we don't want them? Surely?

Or does that just not matter?!

Why on earth do they think anyone wants them back?

I genuinely believe they won't care if they are not wanted

Presumably they'll care if they're booed? Meghan certainly didn't seem to like it after QEII's death...

Or are they planning to just tour said garden centres with their paid 'fans', whilst ample security keeps the riff raff (us) away from them. Forever.

Which just begs the question, how can they possibly think the palace will go along with this?! Why would they?

The only thing I can think is that they genuinely don't know how disliked they are. Or they believe so utterly in the superiority of the royals (and stupidity of the public) that they think the commoners will just cheer for whoever we're told to.

No I don’t think they want back at all - but they desperately want / need some BR Family adjacency brand gold dust to hold their own brand …. MM has not given up on As Ever or any other commercial activity but she believes she needs some royal rocket fuel to bolster (flog a dead horse) - narcs don’t give up, or go quietly, she’s so delusional she thinks she can still pull it off - but I don’t believe she wants to be a working royal just needs some updated photo ops for her content creation.

I wonder if she would go as far as allowing A&L to go with PH to visit KC3 without her if she was really desperate?

Ouch 😂😂😂

Lunde · Yesterday 23:38

I think there is a growing desperation from Harry and Meghan to re-establish their royal credentials and connections while Charles is King as they will have little chance with William - however it will be harder for William to kick them out if Charles has let them back in.

The media wants them back , the controversy means clicks and money.

Lunde · Yesterday 23:51

It's interesting though that the references to the kids' titles were removed from the first press release about the candles and an updated one was put in its place.

Is the palace exerting some pressure behind the scenes?

OtherS · Yesterday 23:54

I think it still begs the question, what's in it for the RF? Why would they ever even discuss them returning? Obviously, I'm sure KC would like to see his son and grandchildren (maybe not his DIL 😬), but that could be done in private. Why would the palace ever want the pair of them to return for public duties? They've hardly been missed. I can't see how that could possibly be beneficial to anyone other than H&M. So why would they consider it even a remote possibility? They must be fully in LaLa land if they can see any way that they'll be welcomed back as working royals. It's completely mad.

Well even floating the idea gets the media clicks and money. The palace doing it makes no sense. H&M doing it only makes sense if the pair of them are genuinely, medically delusional pretty much to the point of needing care. The media doing it for clicks and lols makes makes sense.

MonteShitshow · Today 00:05

I might have to sign up for twitter just to Like the tweet 😂

imagine if they moved back to Frogmore. There could be As ever Pop-ups at all the palace and castle gift shops. And the candles could be used to scent the cold damp churches.

We’re probably still paying for their wedding. The ungrateful grifters can do one!!!

Daily Express with ‘humiliation’ for Harry:

FYI, the Kyiv Security Forum was also graced with presence of Morgan McSweeney today.

Both with their glowering egocentric faces.

I wonder perchance if this has anything to do with Charles and his imminent visit to the US?🤔
