Meg and Harry PR shenanigans

This is what I don’t understand. What on earth is the point of this visit?

Poor sad Harry looks the happiest in a long time on his Pretendy Royal tour of Australia.

She got the weather wrong. It is quite cool in Melbourne today - I am wearing a pullover, jeans and socks - and she is out in a sleeveless dress with no tights. Lots of clinging to Harry with both hands.

Harry looks warmer and more relaxed than I've seen him for a long time. It's sad that he needs a pretendy royal tour to do that.

Meghan looks very nice in her black dress but, again, so royal tour coded - wearing a local designer, visiting a hospital - for what is actually a fundraising trip. It's all a bit incongruous.

Why on earth did the hospital agree to have them (I’m assuming they / their “office” approached the hospital not the other way around. It seems there were plenty of parents and staff who still think they are Royal and were keen to see them, along with the children.
Apparently some families rocked up for an outpatient appointment and had no idea what was going on. I’d have been cross at the delay to my appointment.
It’s clear what H&M get out of this, cosplaying Royalty, enjoying the attention and publicity. But what does the hospital get out of it?

Meg is following royal/diplomatic dressing (Aussie designer, more formal look)
I think she looks polished and it works for her- but it only works because she’s following the rules she made point of getting away from!

Its very much is designed it look like a royal tour. Which shows you how much it must pain Harry to be out in the cold. It’s also slightly pathetic, seen as this was the life they chose to abandon….yet are now at pains to replicate it. So odd.

And they could have had all that, plus no money worries.

Honestly, if I was there (and thank god I have been blessed never to have had the need to spend any time in a children’s hospitals) I would be hanging over the balcony too.

However that audience was heavily orchestrated, it was planned and all put in place with precision, why drag sick kids out into a common hallway surrounded by balconies, otherwise.

It’s also a hospital that QE visited and Charles and Diana. They are ridiculous.

I think a hairdresser has put coloured root powder in her hair, makes it look thicker.
It looks very matte though. Usually her hair is shiny. The style looks a bit Princess Anne in that pic.

second outfit of the day is awful. Have we gone from summer to winter in 3hrs?

She reminds of the child catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in this photo.
That American nose job nose which so many of them seem to have bought does her no favours.

Yes sleeveless …..straight in to a thick knitted jumper with suede bomber jacket…is weird

She was visiting a veterans museum….so this must be her take on army dressing. She’s looks insane!

What is it with all the brown she wears? Also WHY do they have to hold hands everywhere they go? It’s so babyish.

Has M had more work done on her face ? Her teeth look huge .

He has not been found guilty of rape and the trial isn't until the summer. However odious he seems, innocent until proven guilty?

I said in the Australia thread, at this point I'm just finding it all a bit sad. So much stress and turmoil and relationship destruction, only to end up as Temu "royals", desperate to be seen as loved and wanted.

I like the outfit, fits well and is suitable for the occasion (dont know about the weather). I think she could tone down the manic grinning though as it doesn't do her face any favours.

They are loving it! Honestly it makes me feel sick looking at these photos. They are such frauds. I've never been one to think their titles need to be removed but this is a step too far.

I can’t believe it, you can see her facelift scars around her ear 😲😲

Which one though? 😂
