Seems a strange choice of subject matter when you have a name for cruelty to your ponies and your first attempt at selling a barbaric niche sport to the world ended in failure.

By shifting into scripted content that utilizes Harry’s niche expertise and Meghan’s background in Hollywood production, they’re finally carving out a lane that feels sustainable.

Not totally true although I will grant many / most polo players probably aren’t really horse lovers - I would put Harry in that category definitely.

Certainly not denying that polo is very hard on horses but there are people in the sport who adore their ponies too.

I think I read somewhere that H&M have nothing to do with this project barring slapping their name on it - better chance it will be worth watching although I’m not sure their association will help it be successful.

Polo, like most “sports” using horses are cruel and who can forget the photo of Harry sat on a pony with sides bleeding from his use of spurs.

Ahh, the inevitable bitching about them earning money, from people who insisted they cut the purse strings and made their own money. Watch it, or don’t. Considering you all hate them, they sure do live rent free in your heads.

In Toronto, several years ago. I do wonder what they mean by her background in Hollywood production 🤪

I suppose she's 'executive produced' some not-terribly-successful Netflix content while living in Montecito in the same general area of 'Greater Los Angeles', but that's about it, really.

And 'executive producer' itself has a broad range of meanings and levels of involvement.

Equally weird to rely on the NF connection when they have just ditched her so publicly 😬

Apparently you can register for a "just in case" basis if tickets free up. Magically, after 2 hours - all the tickets you hope to get are fully available!

So the ‘wait list’ is basically a shop counter, where you say what you want, how many of it you want, and you pay for it? But with a timed 2 hour wait to make it look good? (Which it doesn’t.)

At what point does the money change hands, I wonder.
