This time to Jordan. What do they bring to it, exactly? What is their role? To bring attention to the issue of Syrian refugees? Jordan is dealing with them fine.

What are they there for? In what capacity?

Apologies fat fingers and predictive text at work! If you really want to know ask WHO. But Harry and Megan do not bring any shine to the organisation. If they have donated to WHO I would imagine it was the condition of the donation that WHO invite them for a visit. Nothing else makes any sense.

I'm going to repost Mark Toth's article about H& M from 2024. It seems to sum up the issues with all their visits.

Do you think she practices her facial expressions? I have to give her credit, she is so good at knowing where the camera is and what face to pull. Today she is a beatific, compassionate humanitarian yet still looks gorgeous in a utilitarian coat 🙌

I don’t know how Harry can stand the constant clutching and hand holding. I hate holding hands, I’d be slapping her hand away.

Actually that smile is the one I try to practice in the mirror to avoid my ageing downturn of my mouth. But then I think Nah, that looks silly and smug and forget about it. 😅

I don’t think she looks gorgeous, I think she makes everything she wears look cheap. I do however think that she is blessed with being very photogenic. She rarely takes a bad photo when she’s aware of the shot.

She most definitely practices, everything about her is so contrived and inauthentic.

I read a blog post written by her once - I think an old one from The Tig - where she tells of advice from her father about 'knowing where (her) light comes from' or words to that effect.

It's very clear in every public appearance that she is acutely aware of where the camera is and is angling towards it.

This is in contrast to the advice generally given to Royals (as exemplified by Prince Philip) so was probably another way she struggled to fit in to life as a working royal.

They are not a "short drive away."

People are just highlighting the fact that H&M do nothing for other people, it’s all about themselves! Most people graciously support, quietly, without any major fuss or demanding behaviours … H&M however 🥴

I think the word 'pretendy' in the title of this thread sums up the not so royal tour perfectly.

They actually didn't do it yesterday - I thought they were being more respectful of local culture but seems not.

I always said AMW can rest easy, he has nothing to worry about. claws only come out when H&M breathe lol
