FFS! Conspiracy theory, much?!

Yeah and what about it?

wornoutjeans · 20/02/2026 15:59

Yeah and what about it?

PPs have answered you.

diddl · 20/02/2026 16:01

Like Tax Evasion for that mobster whose name escapes me.

Al Capone?

diddl · 20/02/2026 16:04

I wonder how much A&F know?

I can't help thinking that you'd be stupid to let them in on anything tbh.

Growlybear83 · 20/02/2026 16:45

I just want to know how much the photographer who took the picture of him in the back of the car yesterday is going to earn from it - I suspect he will be set up for life! 🤣🤣🤣

The Royal Family are said to be devastated about AMW's car crash next Wednesday.

I heard he is going to be tragically and terminally struck by lightning while out riding. The horse will be fine apparently.

Well, Andrew didn't meet Epstein until 1999, two years after Diana died.

I don't buy into the conspiracy theory about Diana's death at all, but the idea that Andrew only met Epstein in 1999 has been contradicted by at least one person, a private secretary, Alastair Watson, who said it was the early 90s.

SandyThumb · 20/02/2026 16:56

He needs to make sure not to stand too close to third floor windows, or out on balconies...

AmythestBangle · 20/02/2026 16:58

The king's money paying for the defence is a real minefield, yes. Not just because of the perception that it would be "taxpayer's money" (it need not necessarily be) but how do you square the King being on both sides in an adversarial judicial system?

R (the king) v AMW (defence funded by the king). It doesn't really work as transparent and impartial justice.

It would have to be (at least ostensibly) from some other source.

ScreamingBeans · 20/02/2026 16:59

Oh why isn't there a LOL emoticon in that little row of reactions? @mumsnet

One person? Shit...

Bulbsbulbsbulbs · 20/02/2026 17:04

He surely has money to pay a defence lawyer. He will have inherited millions from the Queen.

I foresee a riding accident

damsello · 20/02/2026 17:15

Granny's trust fund will make an appointment for the legal fees since he might be an object of her will trust. No direct association with the current Monarch and not from a living donor. What's the bets?

On the other hand, how would we ever know what appointments are made from any Trust Fund since we are not allowed to even know what their wills contain, so we have no idea what trusts, if any are still in existence. I'm just guessing about all this anyway.

Dangerous and slippery if Charles contributes to the legal fees though.

wornoutjeans · 20/02/2026 13:24

I think it’s going to come out the Diane death was hired by a hitman as she knew about what Andrew was up to

🤣🙄 If there was an emoji wearing a tinfoil hat, I'd use that too

BottleGarden · 20/02/2026 15:31

In the long slow build up to this point you would think he's had a lot of opportunity to hide any evidence or dirt.

I am guessing she will be in Dubai for the the foreseeable. She won’t be able to risk being arrested. The fact her daughter was there when she arrived in Dubai is very interesting. For her ‘art gallery role’

HarryVanderspeigle · 20/02/2026 17:26

Queen Lizzy contributed to his out of court settlement with Virginia Giuffre, so no reason why Charls won't help with legal fees. I can't imagine Andrew was sensible enough to delete things, he thought he was a god.

GlasgowGal2014 · 20/02/2026 17:29

Laiste · 20/02/2026 15:11

I think the family was tipped off that the arrest would happen and that's why the sudden stripping of the prince title. To remove any chance of immunity.

I think they've got him in for possible misuse of sensitive info. but now they can dig right into his cans of worms and search his properties ect. If there's more worms they'll dig 'em up !

He's such an arrogant wanker. How much better for him would it have looked to have walked into a police station by now and said 'let me help - i'll tell you what i know'. What an opportunity to improve your spin.

But no. 'They can't make me i won't go ... '

Well they can and they've had to get him by the scruff of the neck and march him in. How excruciatingly embarrassing for him. Its great! 😃

Edited

Did you see the Emily Maitland interview? The man is completely incapable of spin because he has a completely overinflated sense of self-worth and a very tenuous grasp on reality.

I wonder if the time will come when she has nothing to lose, and starts singing like a canary about what he's been up to all these years, and paints herself as one of his victims. All this in highly paid interviews of course

That's just what I think.

Smintymints · 20/02/2026 17:57

I also wonder if at this very moment 7 or 8 women are prepared to go to the press with their stories about Andrew and illegal behaviour. Thinking about all of the women's lives he has damaged makes you feel angry and sick.

caljohn · 20/02/2026 17:57

@wornoutjeans

‘The Diane death’

How crass. And you couldn’t even be arsed to get her name right.

Happygirl79 · 20/02/2026 18:04

double0seven · 20/02/2026 13:15

I do wonder how he will pay for a defence Lawyer if he needs one. If he doesn't have the funds to pay for a Legal team of the calibre members of the Royal family would normally use, I wonder who will pay his Legal bill.

Surely it won't fall on the taxpayer? Even Charles won't dare allow that?

AmythestBangle · 20/02/2026 18:10

Since SF clearly has no moral compass whatsoever I should think there is a chance of her blackmailing the king by saying she will reveal various things she knows. However, that presumes there are any more damaging stories to come out. With so much damage having been done already the king might say nah, do your worst, we're already pretty fucked anyway. There would have to be something really truly spectacular, disgusting (or both).
