This is the third thread discussing the case Prince Harry (and 6 others) are bringing against the Daily Mail (Associated Newspapers) for alleged unlawful information gathering (UIG).

Nicklin gave Sherborne a lot of leeway, hopefully that leaves little or ideally no room to appeal, and we can all move on. Also there could be some criminal investigations ?

If there isn’t sufficient evidence on the balance of probability than there certainly isn’t for beyond reasonable doubt.

He got access to Leveson files as part of the ANL case and clearly couldn’t find anything there to use and ANL don’t have to keep records going back 20 + years.

Perhaps Elton can set David Sherborne up Brooklyn Beckham on his yacht.

David S would be salivating at the thought of another silly client with deep pockets and a complicated media relationship

I really doubt that the amount of crazy resentment these two feel could ever be parlayed into sensible behaviour. They are out to destroy the RF if they can.

We haven't been given a definite date - I have read times varying from May to September.

What the judge said today:

At the end of the trial, Mr Justice Nicklin thanked everyone involved in the proceedings and stressed the importance of transparency.
He said: “The trial began on January 19 and since then the court has heard from a substantial amount of witnesses.
“The proceedings have been observed by a very large number of people… with attendance of people online running to hundreds on the busiest days.”
He later said that he will be working on the judgment “full-time” from the next legal term, adding: “I will be toiling away on the judgment.”

Markle is never going to let up because (a) she will never get a definitive win (she tried that with Oprah) and (b) the RF aren't going to be adopting the tactic of removing themselves from her attention - they can't.

They are stuck with her.

Given that the Soros foundation is funding her to create mayhem, she could actually cause the downfall of the RF.

I think so, they have been talked about but today I think they were released. I think to clarify he don’t naw himself Me Mischief, more that Charlotte refers to him as that, they sounded quite intimate.

Isn't the point about other trials that the newspapers accused have admitted illegal activity?

So there is no 'reheating previous evidence ' in this trial, unlike trials against other newspapers that have made that admission?

I assume Griffiths wouldn't have provided the info if it wasn't verifiable. It would be a crazy thing to do. So it looks as if she was a bit more involved with H and his circle than H said at the trial.

Unless it was someone impersonating H, of course.
