Royal expert Andrew Lownie, author of Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, said at the weekend that the set-up would be "perfect" for Andrew. He told the Mail on Sunday: "He would be happy living somewhere where the media is muzzled, where he will still be treated as a senior royal and where he can easily live under the radar."

Part of me thinks good riddance and they’re welcome to him, but the thought of him being offered this luxury lifestyle and still being treated like a senior royal is sickening.

A royal commentator on a tv programme the other day seemed to suggest that the daughters had bought the London mews house for their mother.
