I also posted this link on the PH security thread and, having read it now a couple more times, I agree @MrsLeonFarrell .

He is manipulating the situation and preparing to lay the blame at his father’s door if he doesn’t get his way.

I believe that periodic re-assessments aren't noteworthy, as this is routine (either triggered by time periods - e.g. review every X weeks/months - or by an event or new intelligence or change in status). If I'm correct then the re-review of his arrangements is nothing new, but it's handy to be able to spin this for PR purposes.

Thinking out loud - in the event that it's agreed his security requirements need to be upgraded, would that bring into scope additional or enhanced threat assessment and intelligence gathering? So if the threat was coming from 'inside the house' so to speak, wouldn't that be found out? And if so, potentially put some awkward pressure on the DDoS regarding any relationship that might exist with some of their more enthusiastic supporters?

I might be barking up the wrong tree, but it strikes me that this could be a case where you finally get what you want - but it comes with a hefty side dish of unintended consequences.

insiders? Any insiders who are privy to secret security information are very unlikely to go running to the daily mail! More importantly, how does it help his security? As I said before on another thread, he keeps proving it's not about security - people who really care about security don't act as he does.

How would anyone know that unless they bought one of the products?
