Agreed, if M&H settled down quietly no one would be bothered. IT's all the activity which just attracts attention (and mostly derision). I sometimes feel a bit sorry for their very cluelessness.

The Sussex show has unfortunately for them become a little bit of a car crash attraction with a lot of people making money on YouTube and TikTok talking about them.

Oh absolutely, personally I don’t get the whole hate watching thing but we are all different. Me criticising the Royals has nothing to do with M&H. Why would it? My feelings and opinions on Taylor Swift are no reflection on how I feel about Sabrina Carpenter.

Partly all, though half their issue is that they don't think that far ahead. It's mainly to do with the exodus from Archewell and the info that they've overspent and the loss of Maines.

Yes it would be bizarre because they are the ones that receive taxpayer money, they are the ones who shape this country whether we like it or not, they are the ones that are continually propped up in the media with endless pictures....so why wouldn't we discuss what they do, how they handle crises, their finances and everything connected to them!

It would be good if the bullying tendencies that often occur on these threads stops in 2026 and everyone can share their opinions without getting accused of having an agenda, etc. It’s so tiresome & I have always tended to stay away from the boards because of it.

We had yet another recent report of her bullying behaviour in the workplace just the other day - where she now ices out employees that’s she’s blaming for media cock-ups. That’s years and years of abusive behaviour, on both sides of the Atlantic consistently and persistently reported and witnessed by employees. Seems she only has one left now - I expect Liam to stand his ground though - especially as he knows where the bodies are buried having been alongside PH way before MM came on the scene. LM holds all the power H&M don’t need that pig squealing…..

My post literally had multiple possible answers to the question I asked, so yes, I am aware that people are allowed different opinions.

I didn't read all your tirade against Harry and Meghan because it is not predictions, just a rant about them.

In what way is it a tirade or rant? Obviously something has sparked the sudden deluge of anti-Wales posts and the change from the normal patterns of engagement on the RF board. This has happened multiple times before and there is usually a pretty transparent reason relating to the Sussexes.

I’m only interested in the monarchy and the heirs to it. I expect there are lots of people the same.

I didn’t have this as an option for reasons behind the current weird Sussex PR op but you might have hit the nail on the head there. It was always going to happen eventually, interest in the Sussexes dwindling as they become less relevant - I suppose George at the homeless charity and Charlotte playing the piano might have made it feel like it’s happening sooner rather than later. Or rather, now.

I think James has a look of a young William with his mop of hair so I wouldn’t be surprised at that, as William was very popular for his looks back then. I saw that James was 18 last week. I remember him being born. I’m getting old!

The posts I’ve seen about William and Kate seem to be from posters who are expressing concern for the children which I don’t find surprising on a parenting board. Also about William not paying/declaring tax and their new forever home which seem fair and/or in the news and should be discussed.

I’ve just looked and seen one about cruelty to animals which tends to come up a few times a year on mumsnet so nothing out of the ordinary.

The issue I have is the hypocrisy. Harry and Meghan seem to take a kicking all year, some of it deserved others not imo. I don’t really care what people post about them but posters do have to accept it when others have different opinions and people they like get a kicking for a change. I’m sure there are people here on both ‘sides’ that don’t have genuine intentions but you just have to ignore that because if they’re posting within mumsnet talk guidelines, what can you do?

It appears to me that the posters who are used to having the board full of their own posts that are anti Meghan and Harry and pro Kate and William are throwing their toys out of the pram because it’s been a bit more balanced on here for a change. Personally, I hope it stays more balanced, without hate and bullying, and the discussion becomes not just about Meghan and Harry.
