You laugh but you do seem rather obsessed with her! Monitoring her stock levels!

Fact checking someone who is proven to lie constantly is something to be celebrated not mocked .

Her humanitarian work.
Advocate for gender equality and women's rights in which she worked alongside The United Nations.
Was awarded global Ambassador for World Vision in 2016 promoting clean water projects in Rwanda.
Spoke out about her experiences as a mixed race woman and as young as eleven years of age campaigned against a sexist advertisement.

All of which I’m willing to bet is far more than her Mumsnet critics have ever done.

I give her full credit for being part of the feminist trad wife movement.

You are aware that a lot of these have been checked and debunked already?
even the editor of “ the wild about Harry “ article admitted that they couldn’t print her “humanitarian “ claims because when investigated they couldn’t find evidence to clarify them.

Bought awards, half arsed involvement in campaigns which basically she rides on the back of others hard and committed work…. That 11 year old dish soap garbage has been poo poo’d
she just hovers around others and sucks out their glory

Yes of course you are so right, no posters on here have ever volunteered at their local food back, volunteered for their community, worked for and with charities, arranged litter picks in their neighbourhood, cleaned up rubbish on our beaches, you are absolutely right none of us have ever done anything as worthy as Meghan writing that class letter to Proctor and Gamble, I hang my head in shame at my unworthiness.

If you say so.
You seem to know her intimately.

In order:

Organised by Sunshine Sachs. Got angry that she wasn't given an ambassadorship the same as Emma Watson's. Was so vindictive about this "snub", that she walked out of a marketplace showcasing the work of female fabric producers in Fiji (during a royal tour), really upsetting several poor women who had waited for her for hours - all because several women there had "UN Women" printed on their T-shirts. Palace aid seen sobbing in the car after the walk out.

World Vision is a "pay to play" charity used by actors to raise their public profile. She pissed everyone off using the budget by demanding first class travel and a stylist to accompany her.

"Nobody treated me like a black woman until I came to the UK". Lucky her. Some os us are treated like POC from the get go, we just get on with it. Sounds like her race didn't negatively affect her acting career, anyway. Actually, the person with the biggest problem about her race seems to be her husband with his precious ginger genes.

The sexist advertisement was a school project. You can see the Nickelodeon news piece about it on Youtube. Her whole class (boys and girls) was involved, and other girls in her class were interviewed for the piece as well as Meghan. Meghan was showcased because her industry insider father was able to ask a camera crew and journalist to come and film. Proctor & Gamble have been asked and have no record of Meghan's letter changing their policy. She claimed she wrote to Hilary Clinton about it and received a reply. IIRC, the Clintons' PR has said they have no record of this.

Do you know what I find disgusting?
the fact that nobody seems to care about the other people ( children at the time) that Meghan airbrushed out and stole the limelight from!
they must have been crushed and to see her constantly waffle on about it must infuriate them.
the fact that she also adds new things depending on her audience is even worse, particularly the fact that easy checking on dates show it’s not true !( I’m of course discussing the fact that recently she claimed it happened during the racial riots in the US ) . Why does nobody publicly call her out?

I don't think I have seen anyone use a title in film credits.

Lots of Knights and Dames in the industry.

Ben Kingsley did in a couple of movies.

All spot on.

Yes - the whole class wrote letters - and as an ex-teacher, I’m guessing they’d had discussions etc in preparation for the exercise, so the idea behind the lettered was hardly Meghan’s own. What Meghan presents as a precocious personal initiative was basically just an English project.

The Fiji Fiasco was shameful.

The Fuji market was appalling. Those women were really upset. I'd have been in heaven looking at all that gorgeous fabric and listening to how they make it! She did stop long enough to take her goody bag 🙄

AtIusvue · 06/11/2025 19:05

Interesting. The Godmothers book store allowed you to buy As ever stock online. The inventory was very small. I commented earlier that I was surprised Meg allowed them to do this, as it’s the first indication we have of sales numbers. And it doesn’t look good. Over the last few hours that I seen of the products for sale, I think one candle sold. So that was 5 candles in total since she launched at Godmothers.

Well what would you know……Godmothers have now taken the stock offline!! Can’t have the public see the truth!!!
Now if you type in As ever in the search bar in Godmothers….nothing comes up.

I’ve got receipts though 😂
