Fergie living with Andrew

As Fergie has lived with Andrew for a couple of decades why is it reported that they are now looking for separate residences?
It is not as if the next house will be too small for them to reside together.
And surely financially this is a better resolution?

I don’t think they “lived together” in the biblical sense. I think she lived in his house because she couldn’t afford anywhere if her own at the time.

I think she stayed in Royal Lodge because of the address. The kudos of a property like that on a royal estate. Don't forget she's been - shall we say - duckin' and divin' for years. That would impress the kind of people she does business with..

I think she was in a “wing” rather than the same house.

I think they lived fairly separately. She’s said before she stays, rather than lives, there. I think she owns a property in Mayfair.

Don't usually comment on Royal stuff, but I think Charlie might have said I'll house you because you're my brother and also because it might keep you out of trouble, but no way am I housing that bint.

I’m guessing the three of them (fergie, and the two daughters) will all start to publicly distance themselves from him. As if it makes up for years of supporting him.

I’d imagine it was more along the lines of “I am really terribly sorry but we must do this for publicity and to keep the country onside, but we all look past it”

I get the impression KC3 has told her to leave as part of the deal to re house AMW at his expense. So AMW will not be housed at the expense of the tax payer. The grafter SF has basically been living at our expense as the Lodge place is crown estate.

Royal Lodge is big enough for two people to live together and never see each other. I think Fergie spent a considerable amount of time elsewhere so the reality of living there isn’t comparable to what most people would consider living in a house with an ex.

Do you think so? They've certainly been what appears to be a close family, up until this point.

She has deserted him because he will no longer be able to keep her in the style/ location of her choice. She will have to leech off some other fucker.

I finished the Andrew Lownie book just as the news broke about his prince title. I still cannot get my head around SFs charities and business deals. Just bizarre, she seemed to form charities and business ventures at the drop of a hat.

I would have imagined the King would not want to support her as well as Andrew.

I suspect the deal was that AMW would live a quiet life at Sandringham, away from royal events and the press pack in return for the King reluctantly housing him and paying his expenses. He probably felt zero obligation to do the same for SF.

If the king was really that reluctant, he’d make Andrew support himself.

So I suppose it's written into the lease of the Sandringham pad that A can never have anyone to share his home.

I imagine he had concern over how exactly Andrew would support himself and whether it would be via the autobiography route.

She may well turn up again down the line. In the meantime - rats, sinking ship?

Or anywhere which suited her grandiose tastes!
