It is reported that Harry has a stalker. Harry's security team had to body-block the stalker when he was at the Well Child Awards. The stalker managed to get through the hotel's security. The stalker also went to Nigeria. If this story comes from Harry, he hasn't thought it through. If you have a stalker and your own security team, the security team briefs the security team at every venue you visit not go admit the stalker.

My thought exactly. He's persisting with the idea that Pa should intervene. Ex-MET Neil Basu agrees with him. He would as he has appeared in a documentary talking about credible threats to Harry and Meghan's lives.

In May, the Court of Appeal in London rejected Harry’s attempt to restore the protection, saying that a government committee was justified in deciding that security should be assessed case by case whenever he visits the UK.
The duke has blamed the palace, alleging that the decision to withdraw his security was made at the direction of royal officials, who sit on the committee alongside police and government representatives.
He alleged to the BBC that they were “knowingly putting me and my family in harm’s way,” hoping that the sense of threat “would force us to come back”.

Does he mean come back to the UK - where the stalker apparently got close twice - or back to RF - because nether seems likely to me - or was it back to the US?

It just seems like more bullshit - though I do know ordinary people who had to deal with stalkers and I wouldn't wish it in anyone - even people with resouces like security teams.

With stories like these I’m reminded of Robert Pattinson and his (invented) story about how he took a stalker out to dinner and complained so much he never saw her again.

Harry should take this approach. He does love a whinge. He’d be permanently shot of her within the hour.

If his security team are really worried about it, why haven’t they taken out an injunction against her?

He has huge personal security to keep his Squaddie fan away from him when he wants, it not like it’s a Holly Willoughby or Myleene Klass type of stalker, now that is a different terrifying level.

If this woman can follow him to Nigeria and a hotel in London, I do hope she has permanent accommodation in California otherwise she’s not as dedicated as all that.

I wondered about the Sussex Squad too. An injunction would risk alienating them though, and M may not allow that.

He has a few options: avoid traveling to the UK, increase his security detail, and stop announcing in advance where he’s going to be. But I suspect he does it on purpose—so that if something happens, like this supposed stalker incident (reportedly from the Sussex Squad he once thanked for their support), he can bring up security concerns again with the authorities. It’s clear he isn’t accustomed to being told no.

If it is Peace, this is a wonderful opportunity for Tom Bower since he had personal contact with the SS in Canada.

Surprised to see suggestions it's some lunatic from the Sussex Squad though; I thought H&M were totems to such people, so why would they want to make Harry uncomfortable?

He’s had a stalker for many years. I attended an event he went to years ago (I was there as a member of staff) and we were given photographs of a woman we needed to look out for. She did try and get in. Perhaps it’s the same woman.

It will be interesting to see if this person follows him on another occasion, if it is one of the SS then surely they wouldn't want to be mistaken for a stalker or put Harry at any 'risk' .

also I thought this was a SS person, abs seen to recall her sitting behind him at IG I think, and she was paid to attend?! Maybe I’ve missed-remembered that?
