I think he's going cap in hand to ask for money. I really hope he's not got the nerve to ask to come back!

I don't actually see any evidence that Harry wants to be back as a working royal. Most of the mismatch between what he and Meghan seem to want seems to be around issues that any cross cultural couple would encounter. They are just turned up to 11 because of the public nature of his family and their relationship.

I'll answer that.

When the father is Head of State of this country, and lots of others (i. e. the Commonwealth membets).

And the son has, on an international state, positioned this country as running Empire 2.0, while accusing the current Head of State and the next Head of State's wife as racists.

And also accusing the current Head of State's wife of leaving bodies in the street, and the whole Establishment of wishing his (Harry's) wife dead and not caring about his safety, so.please can the tax payer stump up £2m (min) per year.

Yes, I care what this son says to his father.

You seem to care a lot about what Harry should or shouldn't do and yet other royals are getting away with much worse.
Anyway, it doesn't matter that the father is a head of state
He is still a father. That role doesn't suddenly dissappear.
You know, like if you have a little boy, he can say what he likes to his father, even if his father is a public figure 😉

That’s the second “surprise” visit this year. He went there in April and I think he said something about not forgetting the wounded soldiers of Ukraine that time as well. Did he go back to jog his memory? Has he done anything about the wounded soldiers in Ukraine since then?

I don't understand why he went again either, it is like he is trying to carve out a humanitarian career for himself or "something"

You think he should have turned down the personal invitation from the Head of the Trauma Centre in Lviv?
Why would he do that, it's hardly going back to 'jog his memory' is it

I can imagine what you would be posting if it became known he was asked to go back with invictus and he refused

He was invited

Harry made a surprise stop over in Ukraine. Apparently he wants to do everything he can for the soldiers fighting in the conflict.
Is he going to speak to Putin to stop the war?
He’s such a dick.

This is him just doing what he was told not to do, but off his own bat without permission to represent the monarchy.
he’s also trying to get brownie points …. Except everyone sees straight through him

Coffeeishot · 12/09/2025 11:36

jumpingthehighjump · 12/09/2025 11:32

He was invited

Why was he invited though. I mean. The Ukrainian government can invite who they like, but why him?

What?

Who told him not to go to Ukraine? Where did he say he was representing the Monarchy?!! He went with the Invictus team and was invited

Good for him

I have posted about four times who invited him. It was the Head of the Trauma Unit for wounded soldiers in Lviv, very apt given Invictus is for wounded soldiers

Spectre8 · 12/09/2025 11:47

🍿 noone needs to understand, he is living his life he doesn't need you to understand. Maybe spend time learning to understand what you read so you dont ask silly questions then. Its been said very clearly why he was invited.

No, I would be posting that it was most sensible that he didn’t go given that it is a war zone and he is worrried about security. His security will be putting added strain on a country at war. The question remains, what has he done since the last time he promised to help the Ukrainian injured soldiers? Has he forgotten about that? And what about the aforementioned need for security? Whose pocket is this coming out of in Ukraine?

Whatever he did wouldn't suit you so there is absolutely no point in replying except to say that and to add, good for him going again

And to add he was invited and it would be quite rude to just turn it down out of hand

You don’t know what other royals are “getting away with”. And what a good job it is that people do care about lies, hypocrisy and greed, enough to call it out when they see it in public figures seeking public support, financial and otherwise.

One minute you complain he is always advertising what he does and he should shut up and go be quiet, now your complaining you dont know what he has done as he hasnt advertised it...

What do you want from him then? To advertise it or not? Can't have it both ways.

Why are you saying that nothing he did would suit me? I said I would have thought it better that he didn’t go, given his alleged concern about security. He claims that he can’t bring his family to the UK because it isn’t safe and he wants top level security to be provided for him, but he is happy to go to an actual war zone. So if he turned down the invite on those grounds I would think it a good thing and then doubt it would be considered rude by anyone

esites to add a bit

jumpingthehighjump · 12/09/2025 12:24

I am just imagining your post ...

"well done Harry, for turning down that invitation from the Trauma Centre for injured soldiers in Ukraine to you and Invictus. What a wise decision you made doing that, you don't want to put a strain on their security so even though they invited you, good on you for refusing to go "

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I mean he's not taking his wife and children to the war zone. I think his security complaints are rubbish and more about status than anything else but he's not bringing his children here because of security. He himself has been here many times.

Yes you are right. That is pretty much what I would say. He is a hypocrite for going to war zones when he says he isn’t safe in the UK, so he would be less hypocritical if he turned down an invite on the grounds of security. He is also using up security resources in a war torn country so I would respect him more for not going

VanessaSanessa · 12/09/2025 12:36

To be fair, he has to get back in with Charles. That's a big inheritance he'd be missing out on..

Joking aside, it's never nice when a parent and child are at odds. It would be a good thing to patch things up.

Why do you think I wouldn’t write it? I have said I would and I am not generally given to telling porkies (to keep with your pig theme). I do not think it is disrespectful to turn down an invitation if accepting it means that you put yourself and or others in danger. Do you?

You could say the same thing for his Diana-type-photos-in-a-minefield ... three visits now I believe?

Unfortunately a few photo ops don't make him a humanitarian, any more than they did for Meghan in Rwanda, but I doubt either have the insight to appreciate that or the integrity to back their claims up with real effort

Haha love your porkies reference!
🐖🐷

I just don't think you would and there's no point in me trying to explain. I doubt he would be in danger when accepting a personal invitation and being accompanied with other wounded soldiers and Invictus team members
Just my opinion and I don't want to get personal

I would love it if they all made up, it would be so funny to see the outrage on here.

This is why I came here today!
