There have been rumours about a 30th anniversary documentary for some time but it is now looking more likely according to this report.
Seriously , what else is there to say about the woman ?
It seems so distasteful that H is - again- using his late mother to make money .
Any reconciliation with the RF will be stopped in its tracks if this goes ahead .

Harry and Meghan 'line up Princess Diana doc' in new Netflix deal

The streaming giant is understood to be in discussions with the couple about the programme which would mark 30 years since Diana's death in a car crash in 1997.

lets not pretend people on here care about PH mental health. this thread is just another one about something that may or may not happen. just an excuse......

As for Aitch - Oh, my goodness, let me just pause and breathe into this moment to share why our beloved Harry is, like, this radiant embodiment of a sexy fox, truly! It’s his heart, you know, that fierce, compassionate spirit that sparkles with such authentic courage, always leaning into vulnerability with this soulful, rugged charm that just ignites a room. He’s out there, with his tousled ginger glow and that purposeful stride, championing causes that matter, wrapping the world in this warm, transformative energy that’s both grounding and wildly inspiring. It’s like he’s woven from this beautiful tapestry of strength and tenderness, inviting us all to connect deeply with what’s real—because, honestly, isn’t that the most breathtaking kind of allure?

Good as far as it goes, NotMM, but you forgot about anchoring into your knowing.

As far as I remember William and Harry made an agreement to let their Mother rest in peace. Harry will be breaking that agreement. Purposefully upsetting his brother.
Harry seems mentally vulnerable. Will bringing up the past be helpful or will it be hugely damaging? Especially if his rose-tinted glasses are broken.
Harry accused John Travolta of "dining out on Diana's memory" yet does exactly the same himself.
This isn't good all round.

He was so rude to John Travolta!

I’m guessing he’s one person who won’t be agreeing to reminisce about Diana if H makes this documentary.

Why in Heaven’s name should we care about H’s mental health? He’s a vastly privileged, spoiled, entitled and whining git.

He’s had enough therapy to fill 20 football stadiums. What do you expect us to care ab, exactly?

Agree . Did Harry care about the mental health of his father, brother, stepmother and sister in law when he was shouting his venom on Oprah and in Spare ?

It’s in the op that it won’t help his manual health.
I was just saying that the posters on this thread don’t care about his mental health.
you proved my point thank you 🙏

And I am asking why we should care when Harry clearly didn’t care about the MH of his close relatives.

The OP made a factual observation which posters responded to. No-one is claiming to care about H’s mental health, he’s not a personal friend, he’s an enemy of the British people, made so by his disastrous marriage. His mental health only matters if it starts costing the taxpayers money. Other than that it’s his business.

good grief, what a hing to say. of course he isn't. you might not like him, but an enemy of the British people lol

However he seems to think the British people are his enemy as stated by his feeling unsafe in the UK 🤷‍♀️

It seems to me the only valid answer is that others should "be better than that", but since this would imply Harry's own choices weren't of the best I'll be surprised if you're answered

I think he is.

My personal feelings towards him are neither here nor there. What is important is that he has been treacherous towards the British monarchy, and he did it from a position of trust and privilege.

He can’t be trusted, shouldn’t be indulged, has no place in Britain as long as he declares himself to be at war with our constitutional Head of State.

Well…are you going you ANSWER the question about why pps on here should care about this super-privileged whiner’s MH when he’s had more therapy than most people could dream of and is still on the whinge ?

Or why you seem so er…touchingly concerned about this very wealthy and spoiled middle aged manchild?

‘The Day Diana Died’ , on now.

So it was announced on National News before Harry and William were told.

The public, who never met her, media assembling, before those children were told.

Honestly: how can anyone not see that this sort of thing causes lifelong trauma.

Harry was sleeping when it happened. He was woken up by his father who told him the news.

Yes. But they knew v quickly that the news, like the rest of their mother’s life, was already in the hands of the media.

FollowSpot · 30/08/2025 21:30

Half way through the programme, no mention of her children yet.

Telling.

He's no less of a parasite than the rest.

He has however gone further in inexplicably publicly claiming an entirely undemonstrated '35 years' service' and covertly sneering at those who (however unwillingly) coughed for his grandiose spectacle for the masses wedding .

The boys were allowed to sleep. I think that was right. I lost a parent at the same age that Harry was. I would have preferred to be left to sleep and be told calmly on waking in the morning. As a result of how my parent's death was conveyed to me, I have a dread of being woken in the dead of night, whether it's by DH to tell me an election result or a child telling me they are unwell. There is a split second, as I wake up, when I expect to hear something much more devastating than, 'Mummy, I feel sick.'

I know they are all grown up now, but really...those poor kids (and all of us who experienced something similar in our own families). Waking up to the sky falling in and the endless, endless spiral of grief. Poor souls.

Thank you for this kind post.

I don't know if this was true but I once read that Harry said to Prince Philip something like, "Won't we ever see Mummy again?", as the news sank in.

I agree. What I find absolutely shocking is that a mere two or three hours after they had been told of her death they were driven to church past hordes of people and expected to sit through a church service filled with locals, where her death wasn’t even mentioned. That is beyond fucked up. It really shows how incredibly bizarre the RF are.

Ladedahlia · 31/08/2025 07:16

Also, they were told seperately of her death. That strikes me as very peculiar too. Wouldn’t a normal parent ask both boys to come together before they were told together? One of them was told before the other and then if we are to believe Spare, left alone with their grief, without even a hug.

Harry's own words mean it's difficult to believe his recollections of how events happened - he stated in Spare he'd been at school when told of his Great Grandmother's death and had to deal with it alone, when in fact he was on a skiing trip with his father and brother. So his memory of how he was told of his mother's death, and the aftermath could be true, or perhaps it's a load of bollocks, and his family spent hours comforting him.
