Is As ever all over? Starting to feel like it.

It’s been 14 hours since the launch of the 2024 Rose. Nothing has sold out. This is despite it being designed again as a scarcity drop, so it can’t be argued she’s finally got her stock levels right.

• As ever stated the wine launch going ‘live’ at on the 5th August. Language designed to get you to rush and buy. Just like all this SM shopping you get now.
• Meghan put out a message many hours ago, stating that they have so much more stock (sad clapback to stuff not shifting) but hurry and be quick because it’s selling fast!!! (It’s clearly not)
• This launch however, has attracted very little press compared to previous drops

The scarcity gimmick is already tired and because she’s been absent from SM for 2 months…save for a few stock images/videos- she’s lost any momentum she had. She’s putting in bare minimum and her customer base feel it. She’s checked out.

There’s been talk of another series of WLM 3 and Meg getting a new NF contract, but I think that is just to fill the void until she can get WLM2 out. At which point, we will find out if there is any truth in any further deals.

The reason why I doubt WLM3, is that for continuity, you would need the same venue. But the home is now being used to to host weddings etc, it’s no longer a private rental but one open to the public to rent. There’s no way Meg would film in that location now. In addition she would need to have gotten the go ahead already for WLM3 and be filming right now to be able to stick to a schedule. The fact that it isn’t already confirmed, it’s giving the signal that WLM is over (in addition to knowing NF deal is done)

Now if WLM is over, I don’t think she has the draw to pull people to As ever. She doesn’t engage with her fan base enough, she does the bare minimum of SM posts, which she hasn’t even achieved the last few months. The Shopmy page is dead too. This is why the new wine launch has barely registered and hasn’t sold out 14 hours later. Yes, there will be more stock but it’s been designed for a sell out so there won’t be huge numbers.

As ever I think will be slowly wound down. There will be WLM2, with maybe another 18 months of drops. Then like everything else, it will be dropped quietly. Everyone is starting to get a bit bored by the half hearted, very beige effort she’s put into her ‘business’ and have tuned out.

She will have to launch yet another version of herself very soon. We’ve had actress, feminist, activist, producer, philanthropist….now female founder. God knows what’s next!

I might give it a go with a five quid bottle but $30?? <<faints>>

Having attended many hangings I do actually find that photo triggering.

The ice lollies, as we old codgers like to call them…

To me the whole joy of rose wine is the chilled liquid splashing into the glass, clear and pink as a summer dawn, and the feel of it as you sip.

An ice lolly is a completely different sensation and would spoil it for me, especially having to negotiate the whole raspberries. An elegant sorbet would have looked better.

It was a fairly easy job to guess.

Even in the video, the way her legs swung and her feet flexed in those slow, rhythmic jerks — it looked creepy and morbid. Isn’t that why they call it the hangman’s jig? It made for a strange, eerie image — not exactly the most inviting way to showcase your new wine.

Do you really not have any compassion or empathy? Can you not see how this image or video — showing her seemingly suspended in mid-air, with her legs swinging and feet flexing — could be incredibly triggering for people who’ve lost loved ones to suicide by hanging? It’s a deeply morbid image. I doubt she intended it, but it’s still not a great look — neither aesthetically nor in terms of basic common sense. Doesn’t she have people to review this kind of content and flag issues like these beforehand?

Might have been clearer to say "having been despatched to".

Well lots of things can trigger people. Seriously dont look its not like anyone on here looking is because they actually like her. 🙄 if you dont like her content stop looking.

It may not have occurred to her. I didn't see the image like that at all but, having read others' comments, I can see why others might. This is why social media influencers need savvy people to advise them and avoid pitfalls.

Yes, I agree. I’m honestly a bit surprised she doesn’t have a savvy team reviewing her social media content before it goes live. But Meghan strikes me as someone who doesn’t take well to disagreement and tends to dismiss advice if it doesn’t align with her vision or narrative. I don’t think she intended to upset anyone, but it’s clear this clip could be genuinely triggering for some. Suicide and suicidal thoughts can affect anyone—something Meghan herself has spoken about—so why assume it wouldn’t trigger a Sussex supporter, let alone an average viewer.

And no she isnt plastering that all over social media its not in the papers as headline news its.not being shoved in front of anyone. You only see it if you go to the insta account and watch the video or because someone reposted it here.

Given that those who feel.triggered by it aren't exactly fans of Meghan then why are they going and looking at her content they don't like her or it anyway. Now moaning they are triggered by it, well could of avoided it in the first place.

I mean we have Altsvue being triggered by a pic thinking itd threatening her...a glass...seriously...she will ne triggered alot then since wine glasses are in images and ads everywhere.

That sort of image could easily have triggered Meghan herself six years ago. It’s really not hard to see why a shot of legs dangling, with the body out of view, could be triggering — it’s exactly how many media outlets depict suicide by hanging.

So it’s not okay for you to mock people for pointing out that this could, or actually does, trigger them. This image is out there for anyone to see across multiple platforms. Your lack of compassion, and your choice to mock those who are easily triggered, are exactly why so many people feel they can’t talk openly about mental health or suicide.
