It’s been 14 hours since the launch of the 2024 Rose. Nothing has sold out. This is despite it being designed again as a scarcity drop, so it can’t be argued she’s finally got her stock levels right.

  • As ever stated the wine launch going ‘live’ at on the 5th August. Language designed to get you to rush and buy. Just like all this SM shopping you get now.
  • Meghan put out a message many hours ago, stating that they have so much more stock (sad clapback to stuff not shifting) but hurry and be quick because it’s selling fast!!! (It’s clearly not)
  • This launch however, has attracted very little press compared to previous drops

The scarcity gimmick is already tired and because she’s been absent from SM for 2 months…save for a few stock images/videos- she’s lost any momentum she had. She’s putting in bare minimum and her customer base feel it. She’s checked out.

There’s been talk of another series of WLM 3 and Meg getting a new NF contract, but I think that is just to fill the void until she can get WLM2 out. At which point, we will find out if there is any truth in any further deals.

The reason why I doubt WLM3, is that for continuity, you would need the same venue. But the home is now being used to to host weddings etc, it’s no longer a private rental but one open to the public to rent. There’s no way Meg would film in that location now. In addition she would need to have gotten the go ahead already for WLM3 and be filming right now to be able to stick to a schedule. The fact that it isn’t already confirmed, it’s giving the signal that WLM is over (in addition to knowing NF deal is done)

Now if WLM is over, I don’t think she has the draw to pull people to As ever. She doesn’t engage with her fan base enough, she does the bare minimum of SM posts, which she hasn’t even achieved the last few months. The Shopmy page is dead too. This is why the new wine launch has barely registered and hasn’t sold out 14 hours later. Yes, there will be more stock but it’s been designed for a sell out so there won’t be huge numbers.

As ever I think will be slowly wound down. There will be WLM2, with maybe another 18 months of drops. Then like everything else, it will be dropped quietly. Everyone is starting to get a bit bored by the half hearted, very beige effort she’s put into her ‘business’ and have tuned out.

She will have to launch yet another version of herself very soon. We’ve had actress, feminist, activist, producer, philanthropist….now female founder. God knows what’s next!

I assume it's because it didn't affect them personally. All the criticism of individual members of the RF have been about something 'done' to Meghan or Harry.

Good point!

That's a good point, although I find it very hard to believe that no-one in the York family upset this brittle pair! They went on holiday together as families and were/are seemingly very pally.
Strange.

It’s because getting involved with Andrew would have been flying too close to an expensive libel action. It’s all too true, too disgusting. And yet here Meghan is making nicey-nicey with Chrissy Teigen.

They could have mentioned Andrew's brusque manner, his arrogance, his selfishness?.
No, nothing. Bearing in mind how much they've trashed the family, they're not fearful of libel. They are greedy, petty and vindictive. Something different is happening here.....

Phase42 · 13/08/2025 19:07

I read the above quotes from Chrissy Teigan....are we absolutely sure she definitely said these things?! Has she admitted it? Stood over them? Apologised? I know almost nothing about her.

If she really did say these things then my opinion of MM has slid even lower. She must know that this would get terrible attention. Why on earth would you associate yourself with such a person? And why would Netflix give this Teigan person a platform?

Yes I suppose so. The book did mention him, actually - to say Meghan didn’t recognize him…

If I recall correctly, MM won the copyright part of the “letter to her father” case against the Mail. What has remained in the general public’s consciousness is the fact that it came out in the trial that she’d deliberately written the letter in such a way as to tug at the heartstrings of people when it was inevitably leaked.
Once again, we have evidence of inauthenticity and manipulation on Meghan’s part.

I don’t understand why that is proof of any wrongdoing on her part though?

I think it was written in a way that still got the message across even in the event it was leaked.

Her father had form for leaking private stuff and she was consulting with her PR person who is meant to look ahead and snowplough potential issues of this sort It seemed like a sensible move to me!

If I remember correctly, her father had kept the letter private and didn't leak as anticipated so, after six months of 'nada', she got her friends to mention the letter in an interview arranged with People magazine. No-one knew of its existence until then.

Provocation and manipulation right there.

Thomas Markle understandably wanted his right to reply and released the letter to the DM who then fell foul of copyright. Karma did pop up and pay the letter writer a visit, which wouldn't have been in the original plan 😁

BigWillyLittleTodger · 13/08/2025 19:45

She likes to twist the knife into her father doesn’t she, what a nasty manipulative person she is.

myrtleWilson · 13/08/2025 19:46

@Phase42 I may be misremembering but I think there was more focus/admission from CT on the bullying a teenager claims. She admitted she'd behaved poorly, stopped drinking and retreated off social media for a while.

MavisandHetty · 13/08/2025 19:09

You think?

Meghan knew Eugenie before she met Harry - they were both in Misha Noonoo’s social circle. This isn’t conjecture, as Meghan said so in her Oprah interview:

"Eugenie and I had known each other before I had known Harry, so that was comfortable. We're friends with them as a couple."

But apparently Meghan thought Eugenie’s father, Prince Andrew, was the Queen’s assistant when Harry introduced her to the Queen at Andrew’s home.

(I have often thought this also makes Meghan’s assertions to Oprah that she knew nothing about Harry rather less than credible)

Her father did not have a history of leaking things!
and further more because he didn’t immediately leak the letter , Meghan had her “friends” leak particular parts to a magazine!
he only came forward afterwards with other parts to set the record straight, he was set up to fail.

sorry hadn’t seen others had already posted this! 🤣

Who wants their wages, accommodation and job remit, and their PR narrative, determined by their uncle or brother? It’s a recipe for disaster!

Catching up, etc etc

But as I always point out, any or all can walk away from the restrictive t's & c's any time they choose.

The fascinating thing is how few don't.

Yes good point. That makes a lot of sense.

CathyorClaire · 13/08/2025 20:51

I’m afraid I don’t believe those who say that they support the Sussexes because they are “disrupters”. Their antics will do nothing to affect the RF in the long term and they would take the throne in a heartbeat if it became available to them

I'm all for disruption prompting questioning of the wider institution but I think any 'disrupting' the Sussexes have done is limited and entirely accidental.

Good King Harold ('only a plane crash away') would spell the end of the monarchy.

SuziQuinto · 13/08/2025 20:52

The only "disruption" they did was for personal gain. They're complete royalists.

Profhilodisaster · 13/08/2025 20:54

jeffgoldblum · 13/08/2025 16:16

Yes thanks for mentioning this again , we have all gotten sidetracked!
it is very shocking that a couple who are apparently championing online safety for children against bullying, would then give a platform to a person like this!

And given Meghan's history of wanting to end her own life, it beggars belief and raises suspicion about the truth of it.
I honestly believe that she's told so many lies that she forgets what she's said. There's something wrong with her.

Royalists through and through even down to wanting a collab with the late Queen - as if 🤣

Harry's level of disruption is on a par with a toddlers tantrum and best treated in the same way.

He inherited $30 million. A little financial planning and he would be independent for life.
