I don't understand why she's posted this. In what way is she hoping to enhance here brand/improve her image? It's so weird.

Followers are ass fake as her video, alleged followers are easily paid for in bulk. Which would obviously be another PR move to say look it worked.

I noticed that Kaleb Cooper (Clarkson’s Farm) has 2.9m followers. I am damned sure he didn’t buy them. The fact that someone that globally famous has a similar level of followers as a farmer from the Cotswolds really demonstrates to me the lack of love there actually is for her. To me, many followers are there almost to ‘hate watch’. I don’t follow her because I really don’t want to fill my Instagram feed with crap that annoys me. It’s either dogs, workouts or
recipes!

StressedStepmum36 · 05/06/2025 16:12

Possibly - but it would make both of them trolls, not just her. They’re both involved.

I wouldn’t be surprised if by now they find it funny that so many are irritated by them doing any number of things.

So how do them becoming huge internet trolls square with their work on mental health and internet usage?

Stacey Solomon has 6.1m followers and she isn't a Duchess!

I think so too!
As i firmly believe she was pregnant and gave birth, I have to conclude this was simply re shot , because obviously it’s fake .

I agree with you Jeff. However she got pregnant she definitely was, ergo she must have given birth. But that video looks very very fake. So they might be having a little private joke at the expense of the media but it’s a dangerous game, because these things backfire. And the whole thing is so déclassé.

My post is still up with the article for everyone to see.

Are you advocating for the accuracy of the output of The Sun newspaper?

Do you understand how old the then Princess Elizabeth was in 1933?

Can you explain why H&M decided to name Lilibet after her "Nazi loving" great grandmother?

It clearly doesn’t.

To be honest I think that it would be easier for everyone if they stopped getting the airtime. If everyone stopped being so deeply bothered every time the woman breathes in and out, there’d be no point in them posting about it.

You mean the link that stated "that film, shot eight decades ago... has been obtained and exploited" and was "'Misleading and dishonest'"

But yet you still posted it in an attempt to prove that you were correct about the late queen being on the side of Germany in the war. Yet the link you provided said otherwise. 😂

So you think it's easier if:

  1. They continue in their quasi political role of trying to censor and change internet usage, working with US politicians, Big Tech, bereaved parents and the Aspen Institute to do so, and using Archewell donations to fund think tanks in the UK and elsewhere to campaign to further this political aim? And
  2. They be allowed to engage in exactly the same sort of internet trolling they criticise other internet users for and campaign to ban; And
  3. We should ignore them and stop calling them out for the hypocritical and frankly dangerous wankers that they are?
Princessfluffy · 05/06/2025 16:24

Fake bump!
Great publicity stunt though, what a Look At Me Everyone moment.
What next I wonder?

I think there’s a lot of things they do that don’t warrant being bothered about, in literally any way, and others that they can’t do right for doing wrong.

I don’t think them dancing in a room is a big deal, it’s a complete non-issue, if people didn’t give it their (often heated) airtime then there’d be no need to do it.

They wanted a private life, allegedly. Make them have it, don’t get bothered about the photos, videos, interviews and books. Give them the insignificance they claimed they wanted.

Meghan also is forever the villain IMO. Take the Coronation. Had she had gone, it would have been “Meghan goes where she’s not welcome.” When she didn’t “Meghan didn’t bother.”

She dragged him away from a family he didn’t want to be in. They’ve said they don’t want the limelight but taking it anyway, so for me the only answer is to turn their media limelight off.

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 05/06/2025 16:34

Meghan posts pictures of herself (her child, whose birthday it is, is a minor part of those pictures. Meghan’s perfect post-birth eyelashes have a starring role.)
Pictures of Harry with aforementioned child are then posted. They are actually pretty nice pics.
Then someone posts a highly personal, vomit-inducing video, mostly of heavily pregnant Meghan looking like she’s trying to do a poo on the floor, whilst flashing her thighs, and no-one is interested in the Harry photos, because once again it becomes all about Meghan.

I cannot imagine what goes on in their heads. I also cannot imagine what goes on in their house, but I bet it’s not all ‘joy’ and ‘honeymoon’ stuff.

Ohpleeeease · 05/06/2025 16:40

You won’t get any argument here!

Meghan's boring, Harry even more so. 😴Yawn yawn.
The video is not very classy. I mostly feel sorry or their children. It's literally making them into targets for bullies.

She's allowed to do what she wants.

We're allowed to talk about it.

Thank.You.
We are allowed to discuss, and... even criticise! I know the fans hate it, but it comes with the territory of H&M being controversial celebrities desperate for publicity.
Sub Kardashians, if you will.

Viviennemary · 05/06/2025 16:55

They must be a horrible embarrassment for the royals. So is Andrew of course before anybody says it. But at least he tries to keep himself out of the headlines.

MaturingCheeseball · 05/06/2025 16:57

To be fair, Harry mentioned dancing in Spare so I don’t think the video is fake. It was definitely not spontaneous, however, as the camera was positioned just so and the dance was clearly rehearsed.

Do we think they film constantly for “content”?

That's a non answer to my questions, and a typical Sussex DARVO-esque reposte: it's the public's fault that they invade H&M's privacy by looking at and listening to the content they put into the public sphere.

Once again, as you don't seem to be able to grasp the point: they are quasi political figures with no little influence, doing and saying things that are completely contrary to their political aims for the rest of us. Damned right we will point this out and laugh at their ridiculous behaviours and hold up their hypocrisy .

I’m wondering why this particular thread is the hot topic for defence , when most of the others have been “tumbleweed “ ?

I'd wondered in passing myself, jeff, and can only think that the vulgarity of posting this is actually recognised, but that like the rest of us they honestly didn't see such a display coming

Discomfited, it may follow that their defence isn't so much for H&M as themselves, for having spent so much time insisting the pair possess a level of judgement so clearly lacking

Edited to add your post about this being a reenactment for Netflix which wasn't shown makes a lot of sense ... I hadn't thought of that

No, no - I’m not manipulating anyone thanks.

But we can’t complain about their definite attention seeking behaviour, and also give them attention.

I don’t support them, for the record. I don’t mind Harry, I think he’s had it rough and if he is happy with her then good. But their life, business ventures, Netflix series - not interested, and certainly not bothered enough to dissect their every move.

They are in essence, non-entities, and it continues to amaze me that the media is so bothered what they do.

DelectableMe · 05/06/2025 17:04

The worst bit about the video is seeing Harry's "performance" in front of the camera at crotch level 🤢. What a revolting man.
He knew full well where the camera was, and that this was a publicity stunt for the headlines to be seen by millions. Yuck.

Crazyworldmum · 05/06/2025 17:13

Orderofthephoenixparody · 05/06/2025 13:07

They don't care even if Meghan found a cure for cancer they will still criticise her. They are obsessed beyond belief because she is the cat that got the cream.

I think you are both spot on . Haters will hate and find something to criticise

MaturingCheeseball · 05/06/2025 17:14

Meghan is Meghan - after fame and fortune. But Harry just looks really seedy.
