What a strange story! I’ve seen it being reported that Harry was wandering around a road in London, knocking on (at least 3) doors whilst looking for a friend 🤔🤣

How would you not know which house your friend lived at?

When he said that about his inheritances - what a bloody nerve! Just shows he’s clueless, entitled and too thick to know when to keep your trap shut.

Yes I can actually and what’s more I even have more bathrooms than them - I kid you not.

And we know he’s up a long term gum tree with regards to finances given the whinge fest he put to try and dupe the British taxpayer into paying his/their security once they realised they weren’t internationally protected persons and he’d have to pay for the majority of their security themselves.

Then there’s the desperate money making schemes they’ve been involved in that haven’t just amounted to selling themselves down the river to the highest bidder, they also sold his family out as well.

Truly wealthy people don’t have to behave like that.

Oh and we know he’s not long term wealthy because neither of them have any talent and Harry’s worth from inheritances etc is well known.

It’s a fortune by our standards but it’s not private jet & yacht wealth & it’s not limitless. Fine if happy to live within means & to M’s credit she’s trying to create an income stream.

the fortune he was left isn’t enough to pay for a lifetime of security at the level he wants it, and when not in the UK (which is very rarely so won’t make a dent in the overall cost of it)

And as for being paid handsomely - they probably did get some well paid jobs initially on the back of leaving the RF but they’ve been found out by the movers and the shakers with money to spend as well as a good eye for chancers and they’re now reduced to selling sloppy jam and boxes of cake mix.

What “fortune” was he left and where have they been paid “handsomely” from other sources? Yes, by many standards, they are wealthy, but as pp have said, they need to renew that wealth to continue living in the way they are. They did not receive a lump sum of $100 million from Netflix, if that is what you are referring to. That was what the deal they made with Netflix was potentially worth. They were expected to pay for production costs etc out of that and they would only receive the full amount if they produced successful content. Why would Netflix pay them that amount just for showing up?

A fortune by the standard of the average man in the street but way below what he needs to continue living in the style he’s accustomed to, all things considered, and that Meghan decided she wanted some of also.

If they were happy to live quieter lives out of media eye they could probably bring the security bill down - but it's clearly not what they want. TBH not spending as much in the UK courts would probably also help.

A true test of their love would be if Meghan is still with him when she has burned through his fortune. Even multi millionaires need to be careful, as we have seen many times over with celebs with millions going bankrupt because they spend.
Compare Elton John. He has a fortune, but he also has a considerable income from his own work: therefore he can spend spend spend and it replenishes.
H and M have failed to find the income they need to fund their desired lifestyle. Same as me really 😆 Calligraphy, jam etc just isn’t enough. She isn’t a Hollywood A lister. He has very little talent. He can only sell private info and trade off the title he claims to hate.

Trust me 😊, I have very specific reasons for having the home I have and the bathrooms it contains. And yes, I do have help with it all. Thank God. Not that cleaning bothers me. I love it. Especially cleaning bathrooms. The part that makes me laugh though is that we brought up 5 children in a 3 bedroomed house, then instead of downsizing we had to greatly upsize due to my beautiful boy and the care he’ll need till the day he dies. My home is built for family living, extended family living for when one of my lot and their family move in with me and my son eventually, then there are the 4 caregivers who now make up his 2-1 round the clock care team with me. Plus a few other staff. It means lots and lots of bathrooms.

You are quite correct , he did say he was cut off financially ( which wasn’t quite true!) hence Netflix etc .

Oh Weepixie I am very sorry to hear about your lovely boy. I am glad that you have the space (and bathrooms!) to adequately accommodate all those comfortably. You have expertly planned for the future for both you and your boy. I’ve got two bathrooms and I hate cleaning them both and will
do almost anything to get out of it . Am open to suggestions on how to clean them quickly!

This is why they are going to come unstuck, the A listers like Gwynth for example can just do another film and get paid millions, Goop is just a sideline she doesn’t need it to keep the lights on, what can Harry and Meghan do to keep the millions rolling in? pancake mix and runny spread isn’t going to cut it, they will just have to hope Charles is generous in his will, though if I was Charles I would do what a lot of grandparents do these days and skip a generation, that new kitchen may have to wait a while…..

Going slightly against the grain: I don't think Harry is unhappy in the way a pp distastefully suggested yesterday (suicidal). I think he is discontent because he has not been getting his way with his court cases (not the big payouts he may have expected, no big reveals about the UK press), security and communication with his family. But I don't think that emotionally distresses him. I think it frustrates his aims to get one over them, to prove he was right all along rather than paranoid, and to be in possession of new ammunition against them - or at least to be in the loop to make himself feel important. I would recommend the Scott Rouse (from the Behaviour Panel) analysis of the post RAVEC decision interview, that detected no real distress/fear in him, no really emotion with regard to his family. I think a life of a near druggie layabout, obligation-free, who occasionally surfaces to accept an award or piously lecture the unwashed, probably suits him quite well.
