She’s probably got loads of grey. Impossible to stay very dark when that happens. You need the roots doing every week and then the colour looks a bit too heavy.

Plus she’s often photographed with William and it just looks weird after a certain age when the wife is dark, dark brown and the husband is grey.

I’m 50 , my hair is the same colour as Catherine’s not a grey hair on my head !
why would you say such a thing for no reason and with no proof?

I never comment on the looks or outfits of other women only their behaviour or actions, if you can find a single post of mine that does do show it as proof!!!

Mine is dark and no greys it’s not a forgone conclusion!
also many women ( and men ) who have treatment for cancer end up with lighter hair , this may not be the case but it certainly happens.

What’s this?!?!
So women of a certain age should adjust their hair colouring so it’s a better match to their husbands, otherwise it’s weird!! Jeez, the 1950s have called and want you back.

Get that hair appointment booked asap @jeffgoldblum 😂 and don’t forget to take your DH with you just to ensure that your new colour is going to compliment his, if you don’t get it right you are going to look weird next to each other😂

It is quite amusing to see people who have no clue about C's hair claim that they do!

I think C wore a very practical outfit and had a great time interacting with the public. She suits skinny jeans as she has the legs for it. Her hair looked great as usual courtesy of her wonderful hairdresser.

I think W's body language is so much more joyful on engagements with his wife. I just saw the clip of a little girl asking W to pass her flowers onto C as but W told the little girl to cross the road to give her flowers directly to C. That girl was so happy to show off her sweetly embroidered skirt to the Princess of Wales, and it made her day. I thought that was a sweet gesture.

As ever, the usual suspects are hurt by C looking great. So much for women supporting women!

The press can't say she's had new hand-tied wefts fitted (likely from an upmarket 'real hair' salon like Understated London). Instead, they draw your attention by saying blonde and waist length and keep banging on about it. I think she looks great, and why shouldn't she have brown hair despite Williams being greyer? She's doing a sterling job, and has done for 14+ years.

Why can't they? If that is what she's had and always has done (I've read here before she has extensions, I have no idea as I I don't know enough about it) but if she's always been bothered enough about having hair longer than her natural hair why isn't she proud of that and it not be a secret?

I don't think the poster was being caustic. It's why I put "passage if time" in my OP.
As a dark brunette who also has gone much lighter because of grey...it's just what happens.
You may be lucky but for most of us dark haired people (especially with long hair) grey is a problem. It's not a "Kate" issue, it's a style choice we have to think about.
