Meghan now flogging clothes for commission.

Commissionable links- means when a potential customer clicks on the link, it's attributed to the affiliate, allowing the brand to record the source of the traffic. If someone buys a product using an affiliate link, the brand will pay the affiliate marketer commission on the sale

But she’s not an influencer?

This is really sad actually.

@AtIusvue, you are being deliberately provoked and attacked, this tag team bullying has already been carried out on another thread , best practice is to ignore.

The aim is to scare away posters from the thread. Won’t scare me away or any other of the regulars.

My main problem is their replies are never exactly biting or quick witted. Disappointing!

Chin up, tits out, we carry on regardless Jeff!

“They need to be cut off and stand on their own two feet financially”
But also…

”No, not like that, you can’t earn money that way, do something different”

She still has her title, she can use it as she wishes. If RF had a problem with it, they’d remove it. And, don’t pretend if she had just gone back to plain old Meghan Markle, nobody would know she married Royalty.

Why are you targeting the op?

Huh? I am making a point, I am not targeting anyone thank you, nor am I in the habit of doing.

Why are you asking strange questions?

Munnygirl · 25/03/2025 10:04

JoyousEagle · 25/03/2025 06:36

I don’t understand that at all.

Meghan was well paid for Suits, and Harry isn’t exactly broke - why were they buying a discount sofa if that wasn’t what they wanted? I think between them they could furnish a house however they wanted.

Because it pushes the victim mentality

AtIusvue · 25/03/2025 10:05

CatsChin · 25/03/2025 09:59

Do you just have Google alerts for any articles about her so you can bad-mouth her? I can't believe you're sitting at home casually reading People magazine online or whatever that is. Why don't you just delete those alerts, or stop googling for it? I'm genuinely baffled.

I really dislike Trump but I don't obsessively google and check his socials for whatever latest gibberish he's spouted. It's very easy to avoid.

Why would I avoid, if I have started a Meg influencer thread?

It all shows how desperate she is for a few bucks. I'm actually astonished at how low she has fallen from her stated ambitions.

Hasn’t it just, where do they get these ever increasing fantasy figures from.

I suspects it’s just the way of the world and I want to say out of fairness that I didn’t in anyway mean the poster had inflated them herself.

I think this is trying the Oprah approach. She has things that Oprah loves- Which is promoted through the NYpost.

So I’m guessing that the plan here is to follow this format….but with people magazine.

But they never work with the press do they?

It's weird how I've now been called a "Meghan fan" after pointing out inaccuracies in OPs posts.

I'm a woman in her fifties who just finds this endless vitriol of a random young woman by (what I assume are other grown) women to be obsessive and quite creepy behaviour.

I'd love to know what jobs you all do that are contributing so much more to society. Or frankly why she shouldn't be hypocritical - she's not the Archbishop of Canterbury FGS. What are these weird standards you are holding her to? And why the relentless obsession?

Very well said CatsChin

I am an older woman and feel exactly the same way.

Just because I disagree with some of the things being said against Meghan, and object to the volume of negativity and criticism against her across the board, doesn’t mean I am part of some Fangirl Groupie Club intent on “targeting” others.

I am expressing an individual opinion fhs!

And I feel I should be allowed to do that without it being questioned?

The RF , I think , won't remove her title. I don't think Charles has the appetite for it ( or asking for it to be done - he can't do it unilaterally ) and it could come across , given all that H&M have said and done, as a bit of spiteful tit for tat. And if you read my post above OF COURSE everyone knows she married royalty , which is a good reason for her not needing to use the title in this sort of a circumstance.

GuevarasBeret · 25/03/2025 08:39

Are they though? And isn’t your “they are both liars and fantasists” proof of the lens through which you view them.

Is there any action she could take that you could give wholesome praise for? Just one thing that wouldn’t be subject to snide criticism of action, her motivations, and what it demonstrates of her character?

the claims they have made have been disproven time and time again

AtIusvue · 25/03/2025 10:15

Right!

Next thread I create. Im definitely putting a trigger warning in the title. Who knew Meg merching clothes on insta would be so upsetting?

" she wears nice clothes while she cooks" 😂😂

What’s funny about that *Glitterturd?”

I wouldn’t choose to cook in white and cream clothes but it’s obviously part of her curated “look” , and so what? She’s got a commercial hat on and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Munnygirl · 25/03/2025 10:21

Tbrh · 25/03/2025 09:31

There's a difference between being interested and being derangely obsessed, which most of the Meghan haters are. Thread after thread literally going on about the same thing over and over again. It's insane.

For a non fan you seem to like flinging out the word deranged.

Realistically how much money can she make?

She won't get more than 10 o r 15% commission on any sales, maybe less. It would be OK as a sideline or to fund a modest lifestyle, but affiliate merching of beige tops and lemon squeezers isn't going to bring in anywhere near the type of money she needs for the lifestyle she thinks she deserves. And I don't see any major media deals in the offing either.

All a numbers game isn’t it.

She needs as many eyeballs, clicks, purchases as possible.

Seems like a much riskier business than to work hard on the NF contract and actually produce.

PR continues

So the podcast sounds like diary of a CEO type thing. Nothing exciting, nothing terrible. But the way she speaks seems so performative that it doesn’t sound like she’s having a normal conversation. Starts 8th April. I’m sure Harry will be listening in to get business ideas

It's very difficult to marry up all these personas - the person who has no idea about bees despite it being a hobby of hers to this hard talking CEO version to the making my own bath salts one. She is certainly a multi faceted person. I'm wondering if this blitzkreig on social media is a deliberate step by her new PR - " let's get Meghan out there" ? " let's flood SM with her" . It's an interesting step as it teeters on the " oh my god how much more of her will we see" and people do get a tad touchy about the attention hog in the room. I'm guessing this is what is happening in the USA.

They are liars and fantasists, they’ve proved it time and time again, and out of fairness I do post positively about them when I feel I can.

you may have not seen it but it does happen.

carcassonne1 · 25/03/2025 10:27

Well, that's probably because she doesn't really have any other talents and cannot do anything else (despite a very costly education provided by her estranged father).

Nope, that’s not true. We saw it with our own eyes and heard it with our own ears during the Oprah interview for eg, plus the lies about the wedding taking place a few days before the wedding.

And there’s more but I can’t be bothered listing them.
