Absolutely no point to releasing it at all - everything redacted🤷🏼‍♀️. But then we know that he A. Lied or B. Was given special treatment - both not great outcomes for anyone, though B would be worse for USA immigration….

I am confused with the judges previous comments that section 1 to 3 would be released with some redactions but part 4 had to remain private. I'm assuming even the judge wasn't expecting that level of redaction or why signal part 4 as being kept private.

Perhaps section 4 is something to do with his private medical info.

In fact I don’t care. This was never about Harry per se. It’s about the current drive in Trump’s America to dispense with personal rights, freedoms and free speech. Which would be amusing (given how MAGAs were screaming about the right to free speech and so on), if what we are seeing weren’t so ominous for all three freedoms.

Those wanting to know all Harry’s private business remind me of those that wanted to know ‘Where’s Kate?’ and those who thought that knowledge of her medical status should be a right of the tax paying public.

The only things that I would want to know if I was American are is he paying taxes, and is he and family being provided state funded security. As I do think that is of public interest.

Same reason as the JFK files having redactions.
Because Trump can say he released the files per the request of the people, whilst not actually releasing anything interesting.

I have had a thought.. what if Harry actually wants to come back to the UK but the only way he can do it without losing face is to somehow engineer a situation where the US ‘is putting pressure on him’ so it looks like he has no choice? Then it will all be someone else’s fault again and Pa will have to find him a house and pay for his security. That would be very convenient wouldn’t it?

I think the redactions will probably have the Streisand effect and everyone's imaginations will be worse than what the actual truth is, thus drawing more attention to it all.

The disparity between the 'classes' couldn't be clearer in this. Ordinary people have been deported for less than what he's admitted to.

All this protection and privilege and no doubt Harry will still find something to complain about.

I assume that the whole “he would be harassed” is because he did actually lie. If he didn’t lie, why would he be harassed? He doesn’t actually have drug convictions, he’s just annoyingly experimental. They let Mick Jagger in. And he did have a conviction.
