I've counted one 'globe', two 'globals', and one 'globally'. It's just not good enough.

Although there's also a couple of 'worlds' as a sop to my love of their intellectual planetary embrace.

I got as far as "Foster" and knew it had been written by AI. Chat GPT loves the word fostering. It's such a tell.

Fluffyholeysocks · 13/01/2025 15:31

Too many words and too many links. It needs to be shorter and to the point.

Producing political wind

Ah! So they need Gaviscon as well as Imodium. Maybe they are looking for sponsorship 🤔

DoloresODonovan · 13/01/2025 16:47

@hepsitemiz - ‘ tangled syntax’ what a great phrase, love it, thanks

CluelessNotMalicious · 13/01/2025 17:12

I try to give them the benefit of the doubt because I think a lot of what they do is clueless rather than malicious

Nicely put!!

CluelessNotMalicious · 13/01/2025 17:15

NOTANUM · 13/01/2025 13:36

This is so misguided. Who is helping them with their engagement strategy?
They care about online safety which is fair enough but they’re stepping into the firing line of big tech and the new administration.
That could be seen as bold or foolish.

They need a Sir Humphrey

’That’s very brave, Minister’

Cynic17 · 13/01/2025 17:20

You have to hope that it is written solely by Meghan.... because if Harry had a hand in it, then the English Department at Eton will be utterly mortified!

pelargoniums · 13/01/2025 17:25

What is their game plan?!

IcedPurple · 13/01/2025 17:28

pelargoniums · 13/01/2025 17:25

What is their game plan?!

They clearly don't have one.

Starting up your 'lifestyle' business 5 years too late, and then publicly slagging off the most powerful person in social media just two weeks after launching your profile on one of his platforms, doesn't exactly scream 'tactical genius'.

It’s fascinating to watch, though. 🍿

Mr Bean.

I’m sure Sacred Heart and Northwestern University would be equally mortified. I wonder if Thomas Markle is regretting making such a significant financial investment in her education these days?

SirChenjins · 13/01/2025 13:37

I'm going to start sending emails from The Office of SirChenjins - it will make me seem a lot more important and relevant than I actually am.

That's all very well but can you hug people??

NotaRealHousewife · 13/01/2025 17:42

It's the first time I've actually looked at " the office of" my god, what pretentious twaddle

BigAnne · 13/01/2025 17:50

They're shitting in their own nest now.

GrouchyKiwi · 13/01/2025 18:07

That is some gloriously pompous word salad. I'm impressed.

I don't think it's ChatGPT. Not enough "furthers", or "it's important tos" or "it's crucials". Grin

BalloonSlayer · 13/01/2025 18:17

I don't disagree with it but I can imagine Meta might make a counter argument which might make eyes water.

No, but it screams "usual appalling judgement" Confused

Serenster · 13/01/2025 18:52

Might be easier to take them seriously if they hadn’t both been exposed as professional spinners of anything that they deem to be an inconvenient truth about themselves.

Ain't that the truth.

Absolutely - and I can raise a tear or 2 to make it extra authentic.

MovingSwiftlyOn · 13/01/2025 19:04

I wouldn't mind so much if there was a clear vision from them as to solutions to the problem. Perhaps it's buried deep under the lettuce, red pepper, cucumber and tomato.

Correct as usual

Uricon2 · 13/01/2025 19:11

The thing is, leaving just before Covid hit wasn't in their control but they could have spent that hiatus doing useful stuff and coming up with a workable strategy for the future. Instead, they started the campaign against the RF, went mansion shopping and were papped. Anything better got lost in the generally lurid way they behaved.

I'm never sure if they are not advised or just reject anything that is the germ of a sensible longterm plan in favour of the flash and the immediate, but if there was ever evidence that the 21st century equivalent of the "men in grey suits" keep the royal show on the road, these two are it.
