Ashley was approached by other clients who were seeking the high-quality counsel she has provided to the Sussexes.

'High quality counsel' that's a bit of a stretch! she should have left when she originally quit, they clearly paid her to stay on at that time.

It's really lousy timing for this announcement, immediately after the employee bullying disclosures, and the spin they are trying to put on it is amusing. Likely the retention package expired at a very inconvenient time and she was not staying a minute longer as their employee.

Can I just check if I'm right here? The previous version of this dress was with one of those big over skirts that brides sometimes have to get two looks at their wedding and this version is without it.

The red is gorgeous and really suits her, but the bust looks awful. I prefer the slim fit version. Her hair is nice, but it looks much more like how Catherine would wear her hair. She has really gone heavy with the bronzer as well.

As to what this means PR wise, I have no clue. Harry is getting some press so she must make sure she is too, I suppose.

Kelly is 100% pissed.

Its her charity they are there for. She has to wait on Meghan. Meghan goes to walk off and has to be told by her assistant that she needs to go back and take a photo with Kelly!

Kelly, who looks lovely in her lilac dress, is happy to pose with Meghan but at one point you can see she stops, her arm outstretched and clearly wants a shot on her own…at this point meghan should have stepped back, but she couldn’t handle that for the optics. A duchess standing out the way? No she wasn’t having that.

So she draws closer to Kelly, stealing any chance she had of getting a lovely photo of herself for her charity. Her assistants then tell Kelly to move on and Megs goes back in front of the cameras with the CEO of the LA children’s hospital charity.

She treated her friend terribly and Kelly is pissed off

The darts in the bodice are just a design feature, not an accident. It’s not something I’d choose for myself, but there’s nothing objectively wrong with it.

Meghan must have had the whole dress re-tailored as she is at least one and perhaps two dress sizes smaller now than when she first wore it, so we can presume she likes the way the bust darts are sewn, even if we don’t!

Maybe she was given a " glow up" by one of the other participant's stylist ?

You can tell it’s not an accident as if the dart had popped open there’d be stitching holes in the fabric above it, which there aren’t.

Also, normally when you sew a dart you trim the excess fabric behind it so it lays flat. So if it pops open as far as that one there’d be a big hole!

I’m not a dressmaker but there’s only so much you can alter before it pretty much has to be remade doesn’t it?

The hair is a fail for me. Meghan has lovely hair and I've seen good looks with it down or up/tied back. This isn't any of those, just looks like she left the house in a hurry and didn't finish brushing and styling it. Maybe the kids were acting up 🤔

I agree, it's not a poorly constructed dress, however it is the weirdest bust composition ever, no matter how much of a design feature the dart thing is meant to be. Also the fabric is pulled and bunching where the straps are.

When she wore it the first time, it was clearly too small for her, she was bursting out of it everywhere.

I think the purpose of the rewear was for no other reason than the impressive red colour, which is quite dramatic and the colour is stunning.

It’s like she’s had the waist panels taken in but left the cups, and there isn’t anything left to fill them. They’ve then used tit tape to keep them flat

She guided Kelly out of the spotlight like she would do with Harry. Grab the hand, then doubled clasp when she really needs you to follow her.

She also half way through the photo, drops instantly her smiling face to match kelly, trying to gives us a sultry look.

Look at how round her eyes are and compare it to previous photos. To my inexpert eye that looks like an upper blepharoplasty.

Edited to add that having any work done would certainly explain being out of sight for a while,@IcedPurple, and it's not as if it would have meant an "illness" which Harry might have been expected to stay around for

Speculation on Reddit is that she didn't actually stay for the event, based on Insta photos Kelli posted at the table during the event, with no photos of Meghan, and people seem to think this paragraph insinuates she did leave early.

No wonder she has a bad rep in Hollywood

You can really see the changes on this photo. Her eyes and brows do look different, but it also looks like she's had some filler in her lower face.

The photos in the People article of her are terrible, not like them to choose bad photos of her.

In the group one, you can see her lip fillers as clear as day, I didn't think she did lip fillers.

Not one to speculate, but....
'Salute to Freedom gala' was mentioned in that People article as the first time she wore that dress in its original form.

And those pictures of her that they chose to include in their article were most certainly not the most complimentary.
