The version of this I read said that one of the engagements was to address the UN about something-or-other and the dates of the big UN meetings are fixed ages in advance. So that probably explains the timing. But I agree it looks bad now, because of the history of doing/releasing stuff at times when other royals have significant events. Though good on them, they did time Colombia to be during the Balmoral break when they could be reasonably sure of nothing else happening. (But it was a shame that the Princess of Wales was papped, when they're usually left alone, and bad that so much of the British press were prepared to publish pictures obtained that way).
I'm glad Travelyst will feature, as that has seemed to date like a venture that failed to launch.
I hope that African Parks is properly discussed (I doubt it, but keep the hope that he will actually do something about the scandal, not just weasel something about it being looked in to by unspecified people with unspecified timeline).
I didn't realise he was still active with HALO.
And if he wants to boost the Diana Awards, perhaps he could begin closer to home? ARO did not need to be launched at that time. More important, surely, to boost the profile of the winners at the time the awards are made
