Do you think MM is going full on to enter politics?
Must admit she is very clever and articulate, but (yawn) she never misses an opportunity ( this time it was to enraptured Columbians) to tell of her 12 year old self writing to washing up liquid manufacturers, to tell them their advert was sexist.
The minx wears the trousers in this relationship. How sexist is that?

Do you think MM is going full on to enter politics?

Nope and I've never thought that
a) she's never said she has ambitions in that area
b) she has no relevant experience (yes I know Regan was an actor, but he was also an active union rep at that time, then had many years in state politics before going for national level)
c) her skillset does not appear to include the the absolute discretion that is needed to cut the political deals needed to climb the greasy pole. The Oprah interview shows all to clearly that she will repeat private conversations when it suits her, and that utterly rules out success in the US political system
d) neither she nor Harry coped well with the press attention/scrutiny when working royals. There's little chance they will be up for the level that US politicians at a national level attract.

If the limit of her ambitions is town level (Paul Newman was a successful mayor despite no background), then yes she might succeed. I don't think she's currently in a position to look to city, state or national levels. That might of course change if she really puts the work in, and all Montecito leaks are apologised for and (crucially) plugged - both her and her husband, as she won't be trusted if he is not.

She is nowhere near rich enough to do a Trump - and remember that although he is flamboyant with a gob that seems to have no limits, he doesn't publicly betray private conversations. He couldn't have made the deals in his business career if he'd gone in for that.

Quite the coup for “Irrelevant” and “Desperate-To-Dump-His-Wife-And-Kids-To-Return-To-The-Royal-Fold” Harry!

Harry will speak about Archewell’s new mental Parent Network, apparently.

“We started CGI because we wanted to have a meeting where people didn’t just talk about big problems, but where we could roll up our sleeves and get something done,” he said in a statement to The Associated Press. “It’s more important than ever to be optimistic and realize we all have the ability to make a difference.”

“The Duke of Sussex plans to discuss the launch of The Archewell Foundation Parents’ Network, an initiative supporting parents whose children have suffered or died due to online harms. He also plans to address his nonprofit’s collaboration with the World Health Organization and others to end violence against children, an issue he and his wife Meghan outlined on a recent trip to Colombia.”

“Water.org co-founder and Oscar winner Damon is expected to discuss the status of the $1 billion plan he announced in 2022 to give 100 million people in Africa, Asia and Latin America lasting access to water and sanitation.”

“Business leaders scheduled for the conference, which runs at the same time as United Nations General Assembly week, include Chobani CEO Hamdi Ulukaya, Gap CEO Richard Dickson, IKEA CEO Jesper Brodin, Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach, Moderna Chairman Noubar Afeyan, Pinterest CEO Bill Ready, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, and U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.”

Quite the roll call for Harry to be sharing a platform with!

I suspect some folks are going to be positively frothing and hyperventilating for WEEKS over this latest contradiction of their Loser Harry narrative…

Yeh, he can tell them all about the single page dedicated to The Parents Network on the Archewell site that you have to hunt to find, then input all your data details for them to harvest.

Yes, I think he needs to make the most of this opportunity.

And I agree that there needs to be considerably more clarity on what the Parents Network is actually there for. Yes we've got the headline, but how is it going to work in practice, how is it moderated, how many users does it have now it's been up and running for a little while, what sorts of discussions are there, what expertise can be called on? It's probably too early for there to be impact testimonies, but how active are the forums?

And yes it's high time we had information on what this collaboration with the WHO is actually going to do. Are they delivering services; or if it's by funding projects, which projects, funded to what level and what impact is expected.

It's never been terribly clear to me what Archewell actually does apart from occasionally giving grants; and the word "collaboration" has become a bit of a double-edged term since that dreadful clanger when they claimed they would collaborate with the late Queen. This is a chance to get away from that baggage and show the action.

Personally, I wouldn't be having anything to do with 'pervy' Bill and his 'charming' wife Hilary ( or anyone else who occupied a seat on the Lolita Express), not even if I was desperate for cash.

Each to their own though 🤷‍♀️

Guess WME are throwing H a last minute biscuit ? or they have made a donation to the Clinton foundation in return for participation? He is an added participant as he is not on the original participant list.

Either way, it's not because H has achieved anything to write home about nor give a speech about.

Although in all fairness, after how downtrodden Harry looked in Nigeria and Colombia, I do hope he is there alone and not being tailgated and humiliated by his wife.

Apparently he has hired a top speechwriter, so hopefully M will stay away from putting her spin on it, allowing Harry a little bit of light to shine on him.

I've not seen any posts that are taking that line. No-one is hoping for or encouraging a divorce (though some see it is a likely scenario)

The return-to-the royal-fold stories of the past week were sourced to friends of Harry. He really does need a good plumber to stop the leaks

What are they actually campaigning for?

This is all fine words, but I'm really not at all sure what the actions are.

What are the campaign points? Who are they seeking to persuade to act? What actions do they want taken?
