@Greigeisthelatestbeige Kate is obviously not well. It’s strange Kate made an appearance as the press were leaving them alone and affording them the privacy they need. Now it’s back to speculation about her health, her hair and even her ring.

And if she hadn’t made an appearance and William had congratulated Team GB on his own or with George the speculation would yet again be where’s Kate?, she must be really sick, dead etc. she literally cannot win no matter what she does.

Quite. And Catherine has made 2 work related appearances when she's clearly felt up to it. So she's not hiding. She can both appear in a work capacity (or in a social capacity for that matter) and be allowed privacy as far as her health status is concerned. They are in their usual school holidays period now, so doing this informal, congratulatory message for Team GB is just her popping up at an appropriate time when required, not sending out any sort of mixed message or an invitation to the ghouls to start speculating on her health or right to be seen.
