Another country on the "Don't travel" list.

Perhaps he thinks this is the way to get his security reconsidered? Personally I'd say the opposite.
If he still had UK security I'd expect them to do a risk assessment and say "NO".
Why should security personnel be put at risk by being required to travel to these dangerous destinations.

Both United and American Airlines are both still serving Bogota non-stop from the US out of Dallas and Houston…nothing direct from the west coast AFAIK.

Oh maybe they did fly commercial? Was there a flight that landed at 10:30 local time @notimagain? Happy to be wrong!

Is it just me who doesn’t understand it, in which capacity are they there. I, finding it really weird. It feels like they are acting like working royals. And Columbia is pretending to beleive they are. But just why?

Good question. No idea.

The only candidate around that time would be an Avianca (the Colombian national carrier) flight from Miami…bit of a long way around from LA but who knows.

I’ll dig a bit deeper and see if there was any sign of any business jets arriving at around the same time but the details of those can sometimes be hidden from the tracking apps.

I agree that it's a good look. She looks great in navy. It also seems to actually fit her, which is rare.

I do think the whole thing is bizarre however. A VP inviting private individuals on the basis of a 'documentary'?

that style of long waistcoat is all the rage this summer, replacing the more standard waistcoat of last summer - because God forbid we should be able to wear the same clothes two summers running.

it’s not a style I like but it fits well, suits her, and feels
much more appropriate than the Nigeria wardrobe.
