Harry seems to not be supported by anyone other than his lawyers regarding his court appeal concerning his security. Meghan wishes he’d let it go and Charles is hiding in the loo ‘no longer available’.

Meghan Markle Reportedly Wishes Prince Harry Would Just "Let Go" of the Royal Drama

As Prince Harry continues his years-long court battle to reinstate U.K. police security, Meghan Markle reportedly has strong feelings about the situation, as well as the fallout from the lawsuits. According to a former employee, the Duchess of Sussex w...

It seems too many can’t forgive and they act like jilted lovers.

This actually is a great analogy for how Harry behaves.

I agree and also wish the media would stop reporting on them, on both sides of the Atlantic. However, the people who would be the most perturbed by this would be Harry and Meghan.

Interesting how even previously sympathetic journalists like Jack Royston for Newsweek are starting to write more critical articles. Such as the one about the supporters of the Sussexes damaging them and their brand. His article today also termed the planned visit to Columbia a quasi-royal tour. No wonder Meghan has gone into damage limitation mode.

MummyJ12 · 01/08/2024 20:18

Well at least there is no Commonwealth connection to run roughshod over

My thoughts entirely @Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar.

As William said “You left, Harold.”

It seems too many can’t forgive and they act like jilted lovers.

But the ones who left keep wanting to get back together, or at least revisit the divorce settlement.

And yet…..no British tv show or British exec has used such strong and vulgar language to describe Harry and Meghan. Yet you believe that people here are angry and spiteful? Uh huh

But Joe public, like on here and other platforms are exactly that and those are the ones who pose a threat, not a "TV show or British exec".

So people on here are a threat?

You are being reported

So is Harry a threat to the royal family and anyone else he mentioned in his cash for stories book

I think a lot of people ( including me) find the ongoing nonsense highly entertaining. How 2 people who had so much threw it away because they overestimated their importance . The fact that The Queen refused his half in/ half out must have shocked Harry. He thought he was her favourite grandchild so he assumed she would agree.

I think he assumes that she did agree, but The Men In Grey/Wicked William/The Nasty British Press made it not happen.

Rhaidimiddim · 02/08/2024 10:23

To return to the subject of the thread, I wonder if this PR push about perhaps dropping the lawsuits might be because:

(a) they're not going to win the RAVEC one (and perhaps think they might have a better change of security funding from pressuring Dad)

(b) the destroyed evidence thing has really hit (what's left of) Harry's reputation as a principled crusader

(c) the homework assignment the judge gave Harry - write me an essay on how you destroyed the evidence and why; and show your workings. Nothing he writes is going to look good

(d) the kicker - all that correspondence the judge ordered Harry's lawyers to ask the Palace for. Who knows* what gems that seam will contain? And having to hand it over to lawyers for the Press H is suing for invading his privacy.

*Harry, for one (if he can remember).

AvrielFinch · 02/08/2024 14:23

Is it likely that Meghan is contacting the tabloids Harry sued to confide her feelings to them? Or is it more likely that this is completely made up?

I think it's more because of the venom that is around about his family in the UK, it worries him that someone may act out at them - it's not really that far a stretch to understand.

I'm not sure the states report on them at every opportunity. Although he is still part of the royal family, most people don't really have such strong opinions on them over there - so they are less of a target there.

It doesn't affect my life if he is in the UK or not, so I'm not bothered either way, i do wish people would stop fuelling all the press stories, though.

The US tabloids report crazy stories about them on an almost daily basis!
The US tabloids constantly have stories about the BRF, and it's mainly negative ones about H&M.

MrsFinkelstein · 03/08/2024 09:51

Posted too soon, here's just a small selection of US tabloid coverage.

And more.

It's naive to believe tabloids will only tabloid in the UK. The US has far less regulation, and far more tabloids.

Yes, the 'the US doesn't have tabloids' was one of the more bizarre (to.put it mildly) claims in the OW interview

Princessfluffy · 16/08/2024 20:03

Put simply, What Meghan Wants, Meghan Gets"

If it were true that Meghan would like the legal suits to end, Harry would end them immediately. He is her poodle.

This is clearly Meghan's attempt at spin.

That’s an interesting observation. I’m not 100% sure about that in this context. This is bigger than Meghan, because it’s about his about his mum.

I think Harry has become a bit of a bore for Meghan. She has a great sense of humour but it’s very different to Harry’s.

I nearly died laughing at the humour she showed when mocking the late Queen with a curtsy.

Kinkyroots · 04/05/2025 13:24

She sets his fuse….sends him off, then backs away as if innocent

How she chuckled when Mariah Carey implied that Meghan had her diva moments.

How she laughed when that chap fell off his horse at the Trooping of the Colour.

And she just couldn't contain her mirth when someone with autism sang the Canadian national anthem.

There is so much trivia and rehash about the pair at the moment.

Ha ha... true....but she just keeps giving us so much to criticize.....she needs to 'let it go' and stay out of the limelight (I wish!)

sausawyee · 01/08/2024 10:42

He's already that grumpy old man before his time.

That's what happens when you marry a narcissist. He's being constantly demeaned by her and is a shadow of his former self. Sad to watch.
