Harry seems to not be supported by anyone other than his lawyers regarding his court appeal concerning his security. Meghan wishes he’d let it go and Charles is hiding in the loo ‘no longer available’.

Meghan Markle Reportedly Wishes Prince Harry Would Just "Let Go" of the Royal Drama

As Prince Harry continues his years-long court battle to reinstate U.K. police security, Meghan Markle reportedly has strong feelings about the situation, as well as the fallout from the lawsuits. According to a former employee, the Duchess of Sussex w...

(I never saw him as dashing but presumably she did)

No, I think she saw PRINCE! ROYAL! WEALTH! GLAMOUR! CELEBRITY!

Maybe he thinks he can score some really good blow coffee while he’s there.

I read about the Columbia trip!
It can't really be true can it?
I mean really? 🤔

Well at least there is no Commonwealth connection to run roughshod over. Harry can’t make any promises on behalf of the king. Off they pop to the drug capital of the world, to serve up more insipid word salad about self care, like the tone deaf quasi tele-evangelists that they are, telling some of the most deprived, crime ridden and desperate people on the globe that “they are enough”. I’m sure that will persuade nobody their sponsors.

Riptides · 01/08/2024 16:49

Alongside the invitation I am sure that all the relevant safety measures will be put in place by the country. I look forward to hearing more about their work through their foundation, Archewell. This visit precedes the global conference to be held there to end violence against children. Once again their profile will shine a light on the efforts of all those involved in humanitarian efforts. Staying true to their word by positively responding to international invitations is inspiring. Meghan’s degree which was also in international relations certainly is proving an asset to Archewell.

I can't believe he thinks his family are unsafe in the UK when he lives in a country where if you can breathe you can buy a gun.

I wish he'd just stay away from the UK and never come back.

I think it's more because of the venom that is around about his family in the UK, it worries him that someone may act out at them - it's not really that far a stretch to understand.

I'm not sure the states report on them at every opportunity. Although he is still part of the royal family, most people don't really have such strong opinions on them over there - so they are less of a target there.

It doesn't affect my life if he is in the UK or not, so I'm not bothered either way, i do wish people would stop fuelling all the press stories, though.

No it was just an American that called them fucking grifters and an American tv show that called her an Instagram loving bitch wife….but no, Americans don’t have an opinion either way

The work is outstanding. Global platform that they now walk confidently upon.

Agreed

Mysterian · 01/08/2024 17:25

I heard a suggestion that it's setting up an exit from legal matters he knows he can't win. "I'm would win this case but I'm pulling out because of pressure on my family."

I wouldn’t be surprised even though he has implied he was better than the royals (William) for taking on the machine and many of his supporters on other platforms calling William a coward. TBH I do think he’s been close to being prejudicial for his own legal cases.

Some of the people fuelling the press stories are H&M themselves. They pay agencies in the USA and the UK lots of money to place stories.

But still.managed to get two juxtaposed - the UK is not safe for Meghan/ we're off to Columbia - that are frankly, an insult to the UK and its citizens. It's not so far a stretch to.understand why they are not popular here ( and a laughing stock in the US.)

Viviennemary · 01/08/2024 18:02

They really have become a more than a bit irrelevant. I must say though they do seem to have toned down their self promotion a bit. Which is a good thing.

By announcing a trip to Columbia?

(Or did I miss the sarcasm?)

I don't think as a mass, they are as obessesed with them as people are here, no. Just look how angry and spiteful people on all these threads are.

It baffles me the strength of peoples opinions on them, when they don't know them and in the great scheme of things have not done anything that bad.

The more people talk about them, the more the press will report on them - it goes hand in hand - people wishing they went away, but can't wait to talk about them at every opportunity, bizarre.

Why would that offend the UK and its citizens.... it obvious why the threat here is more worrying?

Absolutely clear to see why they are made to be unpopular here by some, but that doesn't detract from the fact that people are Interested in them, they do sell papers and they do keep people taking about them (who wish they would go away).

Mylovelygreendress · 01/08/2024 18:54

I think a lot of people ( including me) find the ongoing nonsense highly entertaining. How 2 people who had so much threw it away because they overestimated their importance . The fact that The Queen refused his half in/ half out must have shocked Harry. He thought he was her favourite grandchild so he assumed she would agree.

And yet…..no British tv show or British exec has used such strong and vulgar language to describe Harry and Meghan. Yet you believe that people here are angry and spiteful? Uh huh

Vespanest · 01/08/2024 18:56

It not hateful to point out the hypocrisy that comes from Harry using Harry’s own disclosures. Harry on racism but let’s ignore his own faux pas. Let’s talk about security but ignore that he does get security that is detailed in his own legal case with his bespoke package. The one highlighted today let’s talk about suicide the one where the palace failed my wife but again ignore my pathetic actions. None of this is speculation, none from the press all from Harry.

As William said “You left, Harold.”

It seems too many can’t forgive and they act like jilted lovers.
