I’ve been following as best I can all the tea on the maverick prince aka Harry. I thought I would do a poll, a not very scientific one. 😊

Agree, those posts were very odd.

Isn’t the saying “pour cold water over everything”. Doesn’t quite work with “boiling hot water 😆

We shall see if Harry “accepts” another award after the Pat Tillman controversy. He truly appeared rattled.

It would be extremely uncomfortable to have been treated so gingerly your entire life, completely protected from normal life, then suddenly to be suddenly in Harry’s shoes.

Even the recent invitation posted here was a shock. Is any member of the royal family ever given last billing like Harry and Meghan were on that invite?

It’s the trip to the cinema in Jamaica that made me question some of their decisions. Harry touches his face a lot giving not much away but I think he was quite shocked at the seating arrangements.

I think it was a surprise too.

I daresay a different skirt would have been chosen else.

It wouldn’t have been so much of a faff sitting in the front row.

He's wealthy enough to buy his own drinks and popcorn at the concession stand. I recall a few audience members with snacks.

So over 80% of Mumsnetters on the Royal boards either dislike Harry or are indifferent to him - seems his fans must be doing some heavy lifting to keep him in the discussion!

I suspect it’s more likely that the poll was to find out what level the dislike stood at. Of 500 votes 51% view him very negatively and 11% a little negatively. 18% view him as very positive or a little bit positively. Those that don’t think on him can’t think either way as they are not thinking about him, 14%. Then there are those that clearly think on him but have a neutral view,11%. Therefore, 62% in the negative camp, but only 51% go all out with a strong dislike.

Considering the amount of anti Harry sentiment found online in the UK or by UK posters everywhere I am not surprised at the results. However, it’s nice to see that there is a healthy enough percentage who are not negative. I would also expect in any group where positive comments about Harry are immediately jumped on by the usual suspects that this tactic serves in driving people away. Who wants to keep on talking to people with a negative confirmation bias, it can be argued. I guess there must be enough positivity for some pro-Harry posters to remain to engage with though. I can think of a few commentators here who post some great things. So all is not lost if you are Team Harry. 😂
