Well, isn't this a funny one.

Foreign heads of state are under no obligation to respect protocols of foreign royalty, particularly in their own country.

Seems Camilla didn't get the memo:

As seen in a video shared to X by the Daily Mail, French President Emmanuel Macron's wife tried to hold the royal's hand after they laid wreaths at the British Normandy Memorial at Ver-sur-Mer. However, Queen Camilla didn't reciprocate, keeping her arm at her side. After briefly grasping the royal's hand, Brigitte stepped to the side and folded her arms in front of her.
Proper etiquette around interacting with the British royals has long been a highly discussed subject. The royal family's website, which has yet to be updated in full following the death of Queen Elizabeth in September 2022, states, "There are no obligatory codes of behavior when meeting The Queen or a member of the royal family, but many people wish to observe the traditional forms."

Funnily enough, Charles himself didn't follow royal protocol:

I guess Camilla's more royal than the royals themselves?

Google is my friend. Since coffeecantata caught me out one has to ask why are they spending so much time on CB to know that I lifted that piece ? I'll fess up to an unhealthy obsession with tattle what is her excuse ? If it's a professional reason - massive respect to her endeavours. If not then why ?

I did say GBNews as I don't watch the channel so I know almost nothing of the presenters except to know most are what you would call plastic patriots who love the flag and the royals as a given. A dipstick of vox populi as it were and where Graham Smith would get short shrift.

I don't think necessarily folks who love the flag love the royals. I don't "love" either, however, so I don't know.
I think it's ghastly channel although sometimes turn over to it for the horror. I caught a presenter called Nana Akua absolutely slating Harry and Meghan. She was quite vituperative!
So they obviously criticise all royals, be they official or not.

As I was out and about spending my Tesco voucher I thought "ey up" , I am from the North, how was I busted so forensically (respect to that) and why would someone spend so much time on a site they profess to hate ?
