Maybe it's just me, but I feel like there are so many awkward moments in this!

I’m guessing promoters / producers aren’t tired her and her supposed shenanigans, so there’ll be plenty more awkwardness in store for you, OP.

The hypocrisy, the mad obsession with bullying a woman of colour, the inability to be objective, the covering up the misdeeds of others and instead using Meghan as the punching bag and apparently worse than others who have done pretty horrible and questionable things. You think the world is blind to this? You think the UK is not laughed at by its media stupidity?

Just recently the Jamaican PM was making fun of the UK media because of its insane reaction to Harry and Meghan attending the Bob Marley premier. The UK media used to be highly respected. Not anymore. I am sure you are a person of the world, probably with friends and family across the globe. I suggest you take a poll and I would be surprised if they would say to you the UK is still as respected as it used to be. It isn't and that is not all done to Brexit. Rather our media has destroyed us and is destroying us. We are fed lies, we are made to look small-minded, the truth is hidden from us. The UK media is consumed with Meghan and Harry. If you were to look in from the outside, you'd think that is all that occupies the mind of the UK citizenry - that we are more concerned about what these two people are doing than we are with our NHS, education system, political mess, etc. These two people get more column inches than most other single issue.

The DM have a whole article about her not letting the other woman be pictured next to Harry. There is another woman next to her also beckoning the woman to the middle. If you look at the final group photo, it makes sense.

I have to admit I don't get why it wasn't the* *Director of Sentebale handing over the trophy rather than apparently Meghan - but awkward shuffling for good photos aren't that unusual an occurrence.

Google seems to be telling me director is not new to the post but in it years so must have done these thing before.

The U.K. has always had scum newspapers, and the rest of the countries in the world have their fair share of them too, trust me. It really depends on what you read.

In fact, I can’t remember the last time I seen or read about Harry or Meghan via any media, even the Jamaican PM’s comments you mention seem to have escaped me. I only ever see them mentioned on Mumsnet.

I do actually have friends and family that live out with the U.K. But they aren’t staying up to date with U.K. affairs by reading The Sun and the Daily Mail. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever discussed Harrry and Meghan with them in my life.

If you want to read something specific online, you will certainly find it.

You don't remember? Yet they were the main story in the DailyMail this morning and there are several articles about them in all the major online newspaper (barring the Financial Times). Even this very thread you and I are commenting on is media and is referencing media coverage of them.

The UK is small and what is different is that almost ALL its media is set against these two people. Not only online, but in print and television programmes and any Youtube channels ran by UK operatives. Other countries tabloids do not obsess in such a wholesale way about one individual as much as the UK media does.

In any case you may not think so but my goodness, people I speak to from across the globe ask me why the UK hates Meghan so much. Neither they nor I care too much about Meghan or the Royal Family but it is so prevalent that people do ask and I have no answer. It is just worldwide embarrassment that one country can be so consumed on that scale.

However, if you don't think so, you don't think so. I can't be bothered with all that madness over two people. Enjoy the rest of the day.

H&M are not above criticism and if their conduct/choices get mixed reaction then that's hardly surprising - it's like that for everyone in the public eye.

Though of course there is the long thread in the RF topic where only positive comments and ones about her clothes are permitted. And that does tend to assume/promote division.

But most posters do not divide tidily into camps, nor do they hate/love/tug forelocks. They just keep chatting about any/all Royals, just as they have done all along.

And of course the "British media" isn't one unit - and H&M have of course received much positive comment over the years along with the more critical (and the couple of egregious appalling articles have been roundly condemned in the media too).

I think there are conspiracy sites that see to promote the idea that the British media are unified in an agenda. But they completely fail to see the longer picture and the variations over time. There's even been one blaming evil press barons, and of course that's entirely fanciful.

Where are the articles about them today that you mention? BBC News haven’t reported about them since March. The Guardian reported about their new Netflix shows a few days ago, which was a positive article. I have no desire to search any further than that. Where is the obsession? I don’t see it.
