Poor woman. Her hand has been forced by all the constant hounding. I think it was in some ways inevitable news but still made me cry.

I had to have tests for ovarian cancer last year and I shit myself, and the thought of being that ill and telling my young son scared me so much, and she had to do that x 3. It’s shit and so sad.

Did nobody listen properly? They only found the cancer after the op. It was in what was removed. The chemo is preventative only, ie there is no cancer left.

All this wailing is honestly ridiculous. (Worked in cancer care for a number of years. What Kate is facing is nothing compared to many many people who can’t afford the kind of treatment that she can.)

This was my thought.

It's sad, but it's life, and she's hopefully going to be ok.

I'm not a royalist and have had no interest in all this...but do feel that that she has been forced into that message by all the hounding of the press and the public

I suspect they waited until today because it's the last day of term.

Brave of her to announce by video. I feel so sorry for her and the PoW and their children.
