@smilesy true. There's no confirmation either way. And if I'm wrong, I'll happily admit that I'm crap at recognising people.

Two things are still unclear:

Why did no one else in the farm shop - locals or tourists - apparently take even ONE shot of the future king and queen doing their shopping on a busy Sunday, when the whole WHERE'S KAATE is at a height? Just this one bit of grainy footage? Really? Even if 50% people might decline to share that information, it's somewhat implausible that no one else spotted them.

Most news outlets ran with "W&K had spent the morning watching their kids play sports before popping to the farm shop" - where did this information come from? KP? Complete bobbins?

There's a story in the Telegraph that Kate's being "kept updated" on "her" early years project which I think is meant to tell the plebs she's back at work?

On that note.

I think you can’t unblur a photo without making up whatever was blurry.

Fuck I genuinely the pie chart was a spoof but it's actually real.

Seriously, Vanity Fair did a piece on the early years project.

Trouble now is royal patronages in themselves don't actually contribute much now - they used to add X% of donations, but now that figure has gone right down.

So even if the royal is well-meaning and turns up to all the photoshoots and is attentively looking at pie charts, there's not actually much tangible gain there.

Especially as people can get useful information online...."raising awareness" is outdated.

My Royal encounter was a STEM event with Princess Anne there.

Yes, she clearly was well-meaning and sounded and looked great.

However, the event itself was very outdated and it was like "nice chat, doesn't really mean much - we want to know where are the good well-paid jobs?".

And I didn't mind the buffet and dull conversation

But quite a few people were complaining about the disruption to their day to physically fill up the audience....they'd lost time for what looked like a pointless ego-trip for the senior people wanting a photo with a Princess.

I think the photos don’t look like they’re of the same woman and neither looks exactly like Kate so probably it’s not the best AI unblurring tool.

If you look at the stills unblurred they still don’t look much like her.

The first looks the most like her when she was younger, although you can still see it’s not her. The second is clearly not her.

Other than a radio frequency I do not know what an "FM" is.

I really wish this would stop. I’m so uncomfortable with the press it’s had. She had an operation, they said she’d hopefully be better after Easter, end of or should have been. It turns my stomach what gossip this has generated and it’s brought the very worst out in people too.

It looks like her in pic 1 if she was 15 years younger, but the ears are bigger and more pointy. Pic 2 looks nothing like her.

Actually I thought they both looked like they worked for a bad lookalike agency. Close but not the genuine article. No one seems to have confirmed or denied it was them?

My friend is in the Bridget Jones movie as someone who looks like David Dickenson for when she says "Is that David Dickenson?". The whole point being that neither Bridget nor the audience are certain. I believe there is a similar scenario in Acorn Antiques musical (which my friend also did).

The point being if it is or it isn't, whether they confirm or deny it, we have no real way of knowing.

It’s not really people ‘having it both ways’ is it? Some posters have suggested the picture taken 2-3 weeks ago showed her with a fatter face due to steroids. Some posters have suggested the video taken this weekend showed her having lost weight. Did that poster confidently claim both things? It’s even possible she could have been on steroids then stopped them in the intervening time (though I don’t think steroid moon face tends to disappear so quickly). Or maybe the first photo was Pippa and the video is really her, or the video is a body double and the photo was really her. Who knows?

The Sun newspaper contrived all of this to sell a few more copies of their tabloid rag. As soon as everyone gets to grips with that fact, the better.
