It's interesting reading back at the amount of frothing and verging on hysteria about a couple of mildly photoshopped photos.

I do recognise some of the names - they disappeared after Catherine's cancer diagnosis was made public.

its all the banging on about what a great photographer Kate is that makes it so cringe
a) her photos are VERY average
b) they aren’t even real. The very average photos are fixed through photoshop.

Even before we got to the end of page one it was obvious silly teenagers were on the job and as the thread has gone it’s gotten worse. In fact it’s very much like everything Meghan does - it’s amateurish, rushed, laughable, embarrassing, factually incorrect, and last but not least it’s a joke.

I’m not a teenager nor a Meghan fan but if you are calling a previous poster a fan you are quite clearly a fan of Kate.

The Queen had a stroke. She was already very unwell.

I've seen Henry VIII's armor. There is a suit at the Met in NYC. He was quite tall. He was also more obese than in his portraits at the time, based on the dimensions of the armor.

The American president, FDR, was much sicker than the US public knew at the time. The press didn't show him in a wheelchair and was careful about the angles when he was photographed.

There are LOTS of jokes in the US comments about photos of Harry in US media as his hair really varies in shot to shot.

My grandfather was a huge FDR fan. My mother used to talk about how shocked everyone was when FDR died as no one had any idea that he was so sick.

Unfortunately, US history isn't really taught any longer in US schools....

I also think that pic of the Queen with the children is lovely - I don't give a tinker's cuss if it's been photoshopped. As pps have pointed out, most things are and it doesn't spell 'conspiracy theory'...but some people want life to be a bit more like the movies!

Like others - I sort of expect published photos of famous people to be a bit tweaked - they always have been and always will be. Where's the fire?

You are seriously paranoid and frankly peculiar if you think anyone who dislikes Kate is a Meghan fan. For what it’s worth I think the entire RF should be deposed. Staunch republican here. But yeah. You do you and make yourself feel better by convincing yourself the whole world is as shallow as you and preoccupied in some trifling nonsense of Kate vs Meghan. I’m embarrassed for you.

I know this is a zombie but..

I don’t know why people think that in the great grandchildren photo that they were photoshopping people in who weren’t even there - we’ve heard many times that William and Kate often go to Balmoral to coincide with Anne’s family and the Edinburghs.

Now it would have been peculiar if they’d added in Archie and the York’s babies. (Lili wasn’t born at the time) because they actually weren’t in Scotland at the same time.

I fail to understand why anyone cares.
