Gary could have been paid off/shut down as could the Middletons creditors.
Also, the Middletons could have been advised strongly to shut these situations down. Or the Press discouraged from reporting these stories.
It's also odd that Gary wasn't stopped with the domestic abuse conviction (which could have been used to keep him off the show if someone powerful had leaned on the production company).
I don't know if anyone has followed Charlene in Monaco but similar trajectories.
Prince has relationship with attractive outsider, relationship fine but marriage into any RF is (as one would expect) a snake pit which no aristocrats will touch.
I've read Charlene isn't that popular in Monaco.
But she's incredibly photogenic (I'm a straight woman and I can't stop looking at her).
So the Prince has to keep her married as she serves as a lightning rod for all the media attention and gives him the whole "nuclear family" look to appeal to the conservatives.
She's been "off sick" for a year or so.
Been reported she's negotiated a 10 million a year payment to appear in public and put out statements preserving the image of the RF.
(imagine this money is also to protect herself against threats of security being withdrawn).
She's kind of back, but (possibly as retaliation for her taking a stand) someone has chosen to release very unflattering information about finances linked to her (which just seems like a bit of a smear).
