Good to hear, and here's hoping he collects from ANL too when that one comes round - maybe they'll settle beforehand after seeing how this one turned out?

Though I'm no admirer of Harry, nothing justifies the media behaving like this either, so I just hope they've learned and aren't still doing the same thing (but more carefully)

Good. Settlement is better than long drawn out court cases. He was hacked, glad the Mirror is holding its hands up.

I just wish the other 2 parties to the Mirror claim had settled when they had the chance. I feel sorry for all they have gone through, proving their claims but not beating the limitation period in the case of one litigant or the pre trial settlement offer in the case of the other. They would both be quids in if they had settled, and would not have the Mirror's massive costs bill to pay.

But this is good for Harry. Hopefully he feels vindicated and can move on from that part of his past.

Willy settled without going to trial. Harry went to trial and won the case. He slayed the dragon. The settlement is for the costs and what not.

I don’t care if he keeps the money. He’s earned it . He already gives to charity anyway.

He hasn’t settled out of court without going to trial. He won his case and they now have reached a settlement about fees and compensation.

Good for Harry. Most of the press in this country is rotten.

Bravo Harry the Dragon-Slayer, forcing the Mirror to eat humble pie and cough up the dough having been PROVEN wrong in court.

Harry has achieved what he set out to do and this is a victorious vindication for him - something no-one, not even those who don’t understand the difference between settling out of court and settling post-judgment, can begrudge him.

Besides, that, Harry seems to be a one man headline-driving machine for the UK media recently.
